Leafs curling downwards

also i cant seem to see any bugs with the naked eye

I think 80 000 lumen is the saturation point and the leaf cannot use anymore. 1000w @ 18-20" will saturate and be at sun levels

its usually around 30% some say thats fine. Maybe i need to get a humidifier then.

I have some of the issues as you. was running at 25-29 with lights on and my home is suffering from really low humidity. Thermostat just says low which mean below 20% and I changed the furnace humidifer to something a bit more modern and hopefully that will start helping in the future. It may take many months as this house has been on low humidity for a decade at least and the house itself will keep absorbing it.

For now I added a tray of water where my intake comes into the tent and pointed teh duct towards the tray to pick up moisture. My hygrometer in the tent has gone up to 34% now. Today I am testing an additional method by wrapping my intake on the outside of the tent with that stuff they put in quilts to help stop dust and bugs that may enter tent. I sprayed the filter with water and it alone took my tent from ~20% to 37% so I am going to try putting the filter end half way in a bucket of water so it wicks it up so I dont have to stand there spraying it every 5 minutes lol. When I water (i use a 2 gal sprayer) the tent goes up to 48% and stays that way for 6 hours at least.

thank you. I have 2 600 watt lights in a 120cm by 240cm tent. they wer around 12 inches away from plants. ive moved them further away now.

I couldnt tell you the difference as I setup the extra humidity when the plants were still seedlings. Currently I am not seeing any huge issues with humidity other than 1 out of 3 of a strain kinda looks wrinkly and 1 out of 3 of another strain has a slight curl at the serrated edges. Could all be just on pheno and strain ( I have 4 strains going). I am just thinking 30%+ is better than being at 20 =)

For water not the carbon filter. I use 6" duct and the round opening at the bottom of the tent for my intake instead of the screened rectangle flaps at the bottom of the tent. Attached a pic of what I am talking about, The end shown would go into a bucked filled with water about 40% up the filter and will wick the water up as it dries out from the air flow, the other end of this comes out in the tent and is pointed into one of those rectangle garden trays filled with water (the tray goes through about 2.5 litres every 24hours, I add a few drops of bleach to keep things from growing in it). This basically works like those "swamp" coolers.

I am thinking about adding some of this padding stuff to the tray to increase surface area the air flows over, might be able to pull a few more %.

Not sure how to utilize the flaps, i got 4 of them but they would let light in during flower, even though my tent is in its own small room and is 98% dark anyway.

read up on "vapor pressure deficit"...some strains are more sensitive to it than others.
if your rh is too low for the temperature of your room, your plants have to work harder to transpire, which is energy they could be putting into growing

I see.

I wouldnt worry about light coming in with the vent open. i never had an issue with mine being open in flower (i used to think the same way about light coming through the vents at night period).

Just like you cant get 100% darkness over here really if growing outdoors (plants still manage to grow in back gardens when you have kitchen lights coming on when its dark and street lights etc).

I dont think it is enough light to cause a major issue.

if concerned just make sure flaps are closed on vent when it comes to plants sleepy time.

ive started reading up on this just very recently.really interesting info.its recommended to run close to 80° with 60-70%humidity first two weeks into flowering,with a decrease in humidity every few weeks.ive started doing this because im also running cobs.

these leafs are pissing me off man. Almost time to go into flower and i have theses bent f*cking leafs.
