Absolutely true. There are dielectric materials, the perfect one would be a perfect electrical insulator. Also dimagentic materials, which are materials that have no magnetic moment by themselves but develop one when subjected to an external magnetic field..

Also I have no idea how that is a key component to generating enough light energy to illuminate his flat earth. Pretty sure the equations of motion for a moving frame needs to consider the laws of coriolis & centripetal forces to be accurate, think merry-go-round vs the earth.
