Before and after defoliation

Everyone and their mother is about to criticize you.

I dont think that it was overly bushy to begin with really, i think that you possibly should have trimmed out the lower section of the plant better either when you flipped or right after the stretch ended. you would have been able to just spread the plant apart and achieve the same thing without removing many leaves at all.

Given the state that you started in i think you may have taken a bit too much, but you left plenty so i dont think you have hurt your yield much at all.

It looks like a nice plant, what strain and light are you growing under?

Thanks bud lol but it's a super skunk plant Indica of course. And I'm growing under a 400 watt mars hydro 2 what you think is she almost done or a lil longer?

I tend to come down on the side of leaving the plant alone, but I usually lollipop so I don't talk too much shit. In this case, however, I must ask... What did you see it that plant that made you think that removing anything was necessary? The growth was full but there was still plenty of space for airflow and damn near all of the fan leaves were in position to recieve light. I've grown some bushy monsters that needed a little thinning out, but yours was just about perfect before you took the scissors to it. I am happy to see that you were not excessive about it though...

I love deflation I usually do it 2 or three times I also cut off all low laying new branch sprouts. I know noticed it works well for me. I use topping mixed with some super cropping cut off all lower stuff and my girls seem to love it. A rule I go by is as long as a leaf isn't covering a bud it stays! Defoliation only helps when u need light to penetrate deeper

Yea I'm a beginner and just really heard a lot about it I noticed some of my bud sites in the middle of the plant were not getting any light at all. And in the process of taking care of those I tended to over due myself lol lesson learned only remove those covering up bud sites

From the looks of it seems to have an excess of nitrogen. And in the second pic the tips look to had a tad bit of nute burn. Nothing to stress over they look great. I wouldn't do anything just saying!
