Possible but very difficult to pull off. It would be nearly impossible to get a judge to allow that, and the secret service probably has ways to detect it. But he was surely debriefed after every visit.

However if they don't indict her, I don't think they'll get very far with the current indictments. They'll pick a fall guy and in the end they'll be a token, small time prosecution to make it all go away, (or maybe by the time it's reaching resolution, she'll pass away and the charges will get dropped on her).

The Papadopolous guilty plea, doesn't really help much because he wouldn't be pleading if all his lying wasn't already fully investigated. His attorneys wouldn't let him.
