My buddy and I finally started some seeds Saturday. I soaked them 24 hours, and then put each seed in its own 32oz cup yesterday.

I started.

Coastal Seeds NL1 x Hashplant.

Swami NL5/HZ

BOH

Velvet Rush x NL5/Hz

Cosmic Lotus... Which is more COOT genetics from Mountainorganics... The ONE x Highland Blue Thai x Afghani #1 x NL5/Hz. My buddy wanted to start these. Some can go 130 days, which I wasn't thrilled with.

The ONE x Paki Chitral Kush.

BO X 85 RKS Guadalajara.

Started 107 seeds altogether, and hope for 40 females.

Will veg under a 1000w Hortilux HPS, and flower with 2 x 1000w Gavitas, and 10 gallon smart pots.

Have a 12 x 5 area. Have more than that, but only enough light for 12 x 5.

You know what's crazy? I'm sandwiched between Swami who's just north of me, and Jim Bennett, aka; Clackamas Coot, who's just south of me. Coot recently did a series of interviews with Tad Hundley of KIS Organics (YouTube) outside of Seattle. He flat out said that if anybody wants a cut (as in a clone) of "The One", to come see him in person, as he GIVES them away freely, to all who will come get it from him personally, as that is within state law. I about fell out of my chair when I heard him say that lol Planning on a road trip with my cousin (Coot lives just south of me in OR) this spring lol

Im going to veg under the 1000w Hortilux HPS, which is the same color temp as the Gavita, though the Gavita I believe has 15%- 20% more umole.

Yeah, both the Gavita, and Hortilux have Blue in them, and IMHO do as well as anything. I get really nice close nodes ect, no excess stretching. Been using the Hortilux on an off, since the 90s.

Nice Yah, certain medical issues dont allow me to drive, & my fiance isnt thrilled with the idea of driving the whole clan down to Oregon to pick up a couple cuttings lol But one of my cousins is gunna drive me down this spring. I know a lot can happen between now & then, but he's always been a reliable guy to take me on long trips. Last trip, he drove me across the state to watch the Seahawks pummel the Rams
Also - Interesting... any tips on packaging a hypothetical cutting for hypothetical shipping? Ive heard of it a few times here & there... i was always too scared Id kill em. I got no issue sending a package with a fake return address... I just wonder at temp, oxygen, etc. Anybody have any thoughts on this hypothetical situation?

Coot IS very well known for straight giving out cuttings - especially of "The One", but Ive heard whispers that he also has a pure RKS momma as well... but who knows with these things? Lol

Swami is also going to have this in seed form IBL.

Gas told me the 85 RKS cut was taken to Guadalajara Mexico 30 years ago, hybridized it, and bred it for the RKS phenotype.

Should be straight up funky skunk.

Well... "CloneShipper" is a big "HELL NO!" Love the per unit price ($13.95 each), but they refuse to sell singles... and want at least 300 some odd dollars, minimum purchase... seems foolish, but whatever... I think I'll just steal their idea & make my own, since they don't want my money lol

I always love anything Ive gotten from subcool. Any bog strains ive run are quite nice. Sannies seeds is a big hit so far, ive run shackzilla, kollossus, and selene. Shackzilla is really nice, huge yield great smoke and dense as hell. I have some smurfzillas coming up from north genetics im really excited about. chocolate rain from eskobar was real nice I wish I had kept it, I may buy more in fact.


my all time favorite has to be subcool though. Every single run I get great yields, bag appeal and flavor. Plushberry and cheesequake were the most popular.

yeah dude i watch him live on his youtube and instagram. Indeed he lost everything, Looks like half the genetics are saved, Im pretty sure he has ALL of his like actual breeding lines though.

I'll definitely second the yield, smell, taste, bag apeal... I wish they'd up the potency a bit, though. Or at least offer one or 2 higher potency options, idk. I gotta cast my vote for Swami's Organic Seed co... if you don't mind selection (he does open field pollination), he's got some crazy, next level gear... a lot of older, hard to find heirloom stuff, landrace hybrids&poly-hybrids, definitely some insane potency to be had. The 91' NL5 X Neville's Haze & Blue Orca Haze are particular gems. I've got high hopes for the Nigerian Sunshine as well I've heard good things about the smurf line, though... sounds very interesting

I spose I'm speaking more of effect ... can be tricky trying to parse the difference between potency and effect, but take the vortex for example. Fantastic, unique terp profile, tastes fantastic, frosty as hell, decent yields... but the effect is just... fare. Agent orange - huge yields, amazing orange citrus taste... ok effect. I admit that I'm comparing it against some super fire... like the Chem pheno of OG Chem from Connoisseur- straight hair curling fire, some of the reekin'est stank I've ever come across.

Tangie is another... though from a dif breeder. Love the smell, look, taste, how it grows... but it's always been a let down to me, effect-wise. Another one is Skittles, or zkittlez, depending who's selling it lol Really DOES smell like skittles, one of the tastiest strains Iv ever smoked. Def top 10. But it's just not... STRONG enough, you know?

Cherry has stretched from 9" to three feet in three weeks. thought I had nute lockout, very light green, nice white pistils with red and pink toward stalk and leaf stem red color.
