hmmmmnahhhh, im having a break then expanding for next winter. split up with the girlfriend so i havent gotta worry about her anymore. Figured its a good time to grow all these bloody seeds i keep collecting and have some fun! Bout to stick an order in for 1200w of quantum for my current veg tent before my break..although im gonna dim it to 800w and see what happens. I cant get away with another 1200w of heat in that room with the other two flower tents without bigger extraction and im worried downstairs will hear it, so keeping it turned down and using the current extraction...if thats makes sense?

Some guy posted his FR side by side in the quantum board thread the other day, the difference was massive! i'll try n find it n tag ya. i'll check out those links ta

How to solve a problem like marijuana......ditch the woman lol
My last ex I ditched because she was dead against weed - she was a teacher of 10-14 year olds so was a bit sensitive to the issue of drugs, which is understandable......the one before that was ditched when I found out she was a Tory.... :(
Expansion plans sound interesting mate....just be careful that downstairs don't get an inkling.....which you are...but I'd hate to see things turn sour for ya.

Came across this on youtube. Interesting and right up our street. She has a whole series of vids that I'm gonna work my way through...

Looking good lukio but you wont enjoy the break tho mate. Ive spent the morning wondering if i can dig under the split level entrance hall of my gaff tryna find a place to grow .Only took the last drying tent down last week and im itching already lol

2 deeps reds and a far red with a little ldd driver for 30 plus p&p plus dhls fee plus import/vat 20%.....

Its something i was talking about with someone the other day, i was ment to email rapid see about a bulk order but got distracted with some strips.

Emerson Effect diminishes as light level increases and at typical levels we shoot for (1000 uMols) its negligible.

I understand that buddy...don't know if you read my earlier post 1238? I'm talking about first thing in the (plants) morning and last thing at the plants night. I wouldn't run it 12 out of 12 hours. Maybe 30 mins per day, 2 x15 minutes. Something along those lines?

No I haven't read that one.

Personally I don't really see the usefulness of trying to take advantage of the Emerson Effect for such short periods.

IMO, the Emerson Effect is simply an evolutionary holdover from the time of unicellular plant life growing in water. The Emerson Effect would allow photosynthesis to occur at greater depths, since red wavelengths penetrate further in water

End of day far red is perhaps the useful thing which I'm told is not the same as the emerson effect.....still doing some reading on this...it's starting to make my head hurt lol

Ummmm no. Red wavelengths are the first to be blocked by water, which is why everything looks blue underwater.

It's getting a bit confusing tbh. There seems to be a mix up between end of day red and the Emerson effect which aren't the same thing. As far as I was concerned I was thinking about the far red for end of day coming on at lights out for 10-15 minutes. I'm gonna give it a try but not for a while. Should have my lights/driver delivered by the end of this week. Gonna get that set up and do 1 or 2 grows first and see where I am then. I don't want to introduce anything that might cause a problem until I've got a baseline from which to judge.
