i'll tell you the same thing as I tell the LED fanboys. If there was that noticeable of a difference, there would be a separate shelf for LED grown, OR organic Grown. A great grower can grow great weed with miracle grow. If I gave you a great grown bud and told you it was organic, I guarantee you wouldn't know it was done with dyna gro. But you stay up there on your high horse.

The bacteria in organic soil are honestly incredible growers and they get it right the first time, the same can't be said for all chemical growers which is why its hard to compare the two imo.

Hard to fuck up a plant when all you need to do is take care of dirt for a potent reward & this is actually why i grow organically.

Hey man - I took some advice from this thread and ceased desisted terminated my aquarian "Let The Sunshine In" fan leaf efforts.

I'm also of a KISS vintage that has racked a few laps around the block and am just recently back relaxing into my garden here in West Aust. Semi retired you might say - or plain worn out. I saw the picture herein of your hash making and while there would be hundreds of bits out there in the interweb, I thought you may cut me straight to the chase with a guide/recipe/manual. Always in the back of my mind to try that out.

We haven't had regular hash since 800kg washed up in an abandoned boat south of Perth in the 80s...they would have sailed it straight past the RN sub base at Garden Island but all the law found were false fuel tanks lined with blonde!

organics blah blah blah....what ever way works for you is the way you should grow. i've given my friend who grows organic, seeds from a pack, we both grew them out, me using salts, him using organics, and i can't tell the difference, if you know how to grow, you know how to grow. if you don't, it doesn't matter what kind of ferts you use.

Are you talking about the black hash?

It's pretty easy to make once you have made oil and keif. The better the oil the better the hash so for what I coined as Honey Hash I use honey oil made with butane or BHO.

The keif I make isn't what would be called Top Shelf as it's screened through a 180 micron screen but I'm pretty sure that helps bind it all together as pure melt bubble would just melt into the oil and I'd have a goopy mess instead of a nice ball of hash.

It's just basically keep the oil warm and stir in about 4 - 5x the weight of keif until it's thick enough, keeping in mind that it will get thicker as it cools. A pyrex pie plate on top of a pot of simmering water works for me as I use the pie plate to evap off the last of whatever solvent I used to make the oil with. I don't really know the weight of the oil but keep track of the weight of the keif then subtract that from the gross weight of the hash to figure out how much oil was there at the start.

Or get a press and just press the keif to make blond. :)

Not to take away from meds method but that just blasphemy calling it black hash lol, black hash should have the same status as parmigiana cheese, or Italian pistachios lol. But yes I’m sure it’s good just not right lol.
Edit: ok I see it’s “honey hash” that’s better ;).

...thank for your rapid response mate, but I think I am way out of my depth at this point. I need to do some searching - starting with the terms you're using, maybe then a "...For Dummies" hash making guide!

At least I've got the buds to work with which would have to be a good start point. Onward and upward 8-)

You could always experiment with the larf and sugar leaves and just do a simple bubble bag hash. See you tube for the many vids.

K so first off I’m cheap lol. I covered the drum in a humidifier with silk screen, closed the open end, I throw it in the chest freezer and a day later I have some pretty amazing black hash when I press it. Mind you I use bud to get top quality, don’t make it much, mostly for trips. Easier to hide ;).
