Consent, to be valid must be explicit, and informed. Without that caveat there is no legal consent. Children, are humans, and as such are not subject to deeds, that is a term for real estate or other property transactions. Ownership and traffic of humans in the U.S. ended with the 13th amendment.

This is not about the physician signature its about the parents signature and whether they have been giving FULL DISCLOSURE of all privileges and liabilities at the signing of the live birth record and certificate of parentage. Parents who are U.S. citizens hand over ownership of child to the state in exchange for fiduciary duties related to the beneficiary(child). This is legal fact and not up for debate. YOU need to understand that the minute you say "CUSTODY", you are referencing fiduciary responsibilities, not ownership, rights, or entitlements. Study the concept of COLOR OF LAW and see how words have different meaning in LAW. If you understood what the strawman is exactly, then you would not be confused. U.S. and soil DO NOT belong in the same sentence. Soil-America/U.S.-DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. One is private, the other is PUBLIC. They do not mix in law, EVER, unless you give consent. Again with the 13th Amendment. Here is a clue. Section 1 of the 13th Amendment makes no mention of VOLUNTARY SERVITUDE, which is not only lawful but perfectly legal. You don't see the Amish harrased by the government for keeping tv/internet away from their children. If given the opportunity, most of you would vote that as negligence of the child smh. The Amish understand the concept of MINIMUM CONTACT. Meaning they now how to stay out of the jurisdiction of the federal gov't and live as free men. Their communities are doing just fine. Regardless of what you may think, children in the eyes of gov't are DEEDS on paper. And the living body is the SURETY.

slaves were beaten, whipped, raped, stolen, sold, taken from family, murdered, starved, drowned, chained, forced to worked for free, etc etc... I don't think they paid property taxes though
I woke up this morning and enjoyed a cranberry muffin and cup of coffee. Checking over payroll to make sure everyones pay is correct. Might go pay to get the car washed. What should I enjoy for lunch ?

Not all slaves were beaten, but they all shared something with people today, they were not the ultimate authority over how their own body or property could be used. Other people were. THAT, is the defining characteristic of slavery, other people control you. That doesn't still happen today?

So, while today you might figuratively have a travel pass and get to live in the big house and eat a cranberry muffin, you still don't have control over your own body do you? Lunch? Why not have some raw milk ? No wait.

Isn't forcibly preventing two people from engaging in consensual sex and exchanging money for it a form of slavery too?

Oh thanks for the reminder. Marriage licenses. Of course even after the "slavery" you described allegedly ended, people of different races were prevented from marrying. That was during your lifetime too.
