Is it okay to teach a right wing, oil corporation sponsored curriculum, just because Republicans run the State and don't want to bother paying for a decent education for their resident's children?

And don't think Exxon is being totally selfless; not only is every dime of that 'alternative education' tax deductible, but the deducted cost (you know; to us, the actual taxpayers) is higher than if the school system was doing the job they're there for.

No, BOTH sides are working against my interests.

If the Democrats were actually doing their job, our political system would not be anywhere near the right wing near fascist corporate Paradise that it currently is.

Or maybe you're lucky enough to be above the working class, where people working full time still qualify for food stamps and have to make decisions about whether to pay rent or buy their medications.

Plenty of people will tell you that Republicans are 'bad'- what they don't tell you is that the Democratic Party is just as complicit in the current state of our country and that the Progressive Movement is not only a viable alternative but that voters are flicking to its cause in rapidly growing numbers.

Democrats are STILL down almost 1000 seats since Obama took office.

Maybe they should try not taking corporate money- like Republicans do- or moving to the 'center'- that is between their already moderate Republican position and the right wing fascist positions the Republican Party now inhabits.
