It is NOT possible for the plant to be "flushed" of any nutrient! The biology of the plant makes that IMPOSSIBLE!
Why would anyone research the impossible?

Not to mention I was schooled on the subject by cigar makers and the growers of that tobacco used in it.

there's lots of research into leaching....usually about how to stop it from happening...because its a bad thing...and does none of the things people are convinced it does...
perhaps the reason you can't find any research is that you are searching for confirmation of something that doesn't happen the way you think it does
this feels like i'm watching a bunch of retarded kids, and they keep on running headfirst into the same wall. when i ask them why they're doing it, they tell me it feels good.....

I need to read those links when I'm not distracted. Most of them read like AASHTO or EIA/TIA codes so I'm going to have to focus and, at the moment, I'm cooking dinner for 5.

I have to stop and google definitions of words I don't know when I reading links like the ones you posted above.
This is going to take this dumb Buba a long time to get through.

Page 1 of the 1st link, 1st word in the 1st paragraph is hydrologic.
Didn't take me long to need googles help.

Definition of hydrologic cycle. :the sequence of conditions through which water passes from vapor in the atmosphere through precipitation upon land or water surfaces and ultimately back into the atmosphere as a result of evaporation and transpiration — called also hydrological cycle.

Not trying to be a forum policeman as much as I'm trying to be the calm voice of reason just like I am everywhere I go. Frankly I don't think the thread is stupid as it is in the Newbies forum and information can get lost or missed by neophytes like me. I've gotten some pretty good ideas and advice here. Granted yall don't agree and that's cool but differing opinions are what makes the world go around and teaches people like me that you need to research hard, find a method that works for you, and give it a go. :) Arguing respectfully and disagreeing in a mature manner can be fun. Frankly my post was intended to calm people down and allow us to debate as gentlemen. If I offended you I certainly apologize. Have a great rest of your day sir :)
