Can't tell if this is nute burn or something else?

Good morning beautiful cannabis community:bigjoint:.

This is my first time growing ever and I'm growing in coco and using a 400w mh/hps. I'm using fox farm nutes and this is my 5th week of veg. I am using a scrog net and just transplanted to 5 gal pots 2 days ago.

I've been maintaining proper ph and I have a ppm meter as well to compliment my use of tap water for watering. My ppms of tap water are 250 and then I add calmag and foxfarm trio according to the regimine. I started at half strength and worked my way up to full strength in the 5th week of veg as I am waiting for my scrog net to fill in. I noticed some of the upper leaves look a little funky and I'm wondering what it is. My lights are kept about 15-20" above the canopy. Any additional tips would also be greatly appreciated!

Greetings. pH and feed amounts and how often. How much ca:mg etc. ? Seed or clones?

I am using 5ml per gallon of Calmag, they started from clones, but they are in the beginning of week 5 now. PH is at 6.3 and nutrients are up to 15ml per gal of grow big and big bloom.

Clones like to eat. 6.3 is a little high for Coco. 5.8-6.0 is my zone.

Drop the fox farm nutes. Nothing but problems I see from it on here.

Try some megacrop. They advertise here. Good stuff.

Dynagro is decent. I also like rxgreensolutions. They advertise here.

WHY are you adding Cal/Mag to Tap Water??? Go online and look at YOUR Cities water report. @ 250ppm, I bet you have PLENTY of Calcium for free at the tap. Scrog on a first grow is a nice try, forget it. Get the plant thru a successful grow. Next time after the training wheels are off... Maybe. http://www.growweedeasy.com/coco-coir

Fox farms is some salty crap, but it grows just fine.

Half strength is the highest I ever needed to go, only used the bases and powders plus kelp me kelp you and their fish fert and added silica/calmag/fulvic and my own tea for microbes.

Lots of easier nutrient regimens though, I won't be using fox farms anymore.

Yea. A person can grow with it. Doesn't make it a good idea. I see all kinds of problems from fox farm trio on here. Quite often.

Half strength and those still look on the verge of being fried.

When I was growing in ffof and had some nice grows, I would start using the big bloom in veg and used the tiger bloom in flower combined with the big bloom but almost never used the big grow.

They look like that because I pushed them a little hard when they were around w4, most of the damage there was from environment. But nonetheless .8g/w isn't bad.

I never said it was the best to use either, just stating it's the amount or how he's feeding them. More to the point he doesnt need to run out and get new nutrients to rectify his problem. I just see some overfeeding, maybe a bit of overwatering and wind burn mostly i think. and given that he is using fox farms i would bet a salt lockup or the start of one. mine threw some 3 leafs until i gave them a very thorough watering coming out of the stretch.

Its not expensive. You can get a sample kit from dynagro for less than 20 bucks. You get a quart of foliage pro 9-3-6. A quart of protekt. A pint each of bloom, mag pro and rooting concentrate.

The foliage pro is a one part that covers all macro and micro nutrients. It grows great cannabis.

I'm not a fan of bloom boosters. A balanced feed is the best.

Sure fox farms liquids grow pot. Miracle grow works too. That wasn't my point.

My point is that the fox farm liquids are crap. A lot of people have problems with it. A lot of burnt plants, salt build up and lock outs.

I'm organic myself. Have a compost pile and worm bin. That and a little espoma garden tone go a long ways. Its 8 bucks for 8 pounds. Add a sprinkle once a month and they are good to go.

I'm just saying I see a lot of problem threads from fox farm liquid users.

They make a decent soil and their dry ferts are good.

Not to take anything away from your grow. Those are nice plants.

For a newer grower something a little more user friendly might be the best idea.

I'll agree on the FF nutes. Move along into something better.

Botanicare KIND is nice. 3 part, inexpensive, charted for cannabis (Charted for heavy feeders, light feeders and fussy growing plants may require less....dialing in new strains is mandatory anyway!)
