Can you tell me which portable water heater and which pump you bought on amazon?

Also do you know, how long the heater is on to up the co2 level?

i moved the propane tank back into the grow room.it only got me 1 more day out of the tank.guess running in mid 70's is using alot more co2 then i did running mid 80s in the summer and spring

Seems like I can source that modell of heater where I am :-) What pump are you using for it? I saw they sell it with a flojet pump which is 12V, which means I would need to run it from battery. I think that is not the best way....

Also I saw, that it gets ignited with 2 D batteries. How long do they last?

Did you hear anything relating to incomplete propane gas combustion with these water heaters? I heard if you have incomplete combustion it harms you and your plants....

Ehm, sorry, I am still not sure how is the relation between CO2 consumption and temperature. Because you say that you have to shift the tank sometimes to lower the consumption? :/

i am using a utilty pump from a hardware store or walmart. 1/3 HP Submersible Utility Pump something like that.31 bucks at walmart.
mine has been running on same two batteries for 9 months i think.
i moved propane tank in room thinking the cold in the garage was causing too low of pressure in the tank to let water heater run.i did get one more day of use from the almost empty tank by putting it in the 72 degree room.i do not know why i am using so much more propane now then in the summer especially since i am running the temps lower and most everyone recommends running hotter with co2
plants are doing great with temps in 70's .they look better and yields are up since i lowered temps.

That is strange... What do you guess, how much percent propane you use more now?

what do you guess, how long/often your humidifier is running?

I got one which claims to do 105 pints a day (they claim it can do this at 80 % humidity and 30 degree celcius) and 775 watts. But I am wondering if it is really strong enough.

Buy once cry once
I have a Quest Dual 105
I love this unit, it replaced a 140pint Dehumitifer, this runs less power, doesn’t kick on as much, draws less power too.
Only complaint, it’s big . But built well

no idea how often it runs.my guess is fairly often since my temps stay pretty stable.if i notice temps are getting lower i will lower rh setting so it cycles more often .usually have it set between 50 and 60 % but have gone down to 40

I looked at Quest, but it costs 8 times more than my unit.

Maybe get a 4 to 500W wall panel heater. I would at the minimum put it on a timer to come on periodically in the dark cycle. They are normally set internally to keep the room at about 25C

If it is cold at night. The larger the gradient the more stretch you get.
Basically everyone should have a way of controlling dark cycle temperatures just as they do for the light cycle... so maybe you too yeah.

as i stated, the dehumidifier supplies enough heat in a 8x10 room and a 6x8 room exchanging air.the veg is 6x8 and only has a 200 watt 4cxb3590 light to generate heat(which isnt much)when lights are out the dehumidifier adds enough to keep both rooms good.the only time the veg hit a low of 64 and a high of 70 was when it was -20 f outside.the flower room never dropped below 72 .my mini split is set on cool only and still turns on when -20 when the 1800 watts of cxb 3590 turn on in flower room, just not often.this is my 2nd winter running like this with no additional heat.the two rooms are insulated as is the garage they are in.the garage was down to 32F when it was -20f outside and there is no heat in there.if it was not staying in good range ,i would add heat but have not needed it.the on demand water heater does add some heat but not much since it only runs for 15 to 30 seconds till co2 levels reach the set point and turn it off.have you started your grow?its going to be spring soon!
