^ this is actually good advice.make each area a 5x5 the cross lighting will cover it just fine

This would fill half the room if each one lot a 5x5 area. The rest could be storage and aisle space. How well do u think 8 xxxl magnum hoods with 1000 watt bulbs and phantom ballast would light it I can get them cheap like 900 for all
Honestly. Not yet, but I read about the par values a lot. Those numbers at the corners ain’t shit without overlap or a tent reflecting all 4 sides of a 4x4.have you used them? in a 3x3 tent and also a 4x4 tent to see if it can cover it? everyone i knw that uses them cover a solid 4x4 with them. you saying no and then saying they can cover up to that is really contradicting in a way lol. its like saying a piece of paper covers a 3x3 up to a 4x4, when really its a 4x4 sheet.. get what i mean lol? if you have 3 on each side youll get cross spec thats why i said 5 to 6 lights. so, yes they will cover a 4x4.
I’d say jump on it and look for another 8... that room can handle it if you properly air cool it and add a decent 3 ton AC, or several (4x 750cfm intake fans) blowing through through a dust shroom above the duct lines to positively pressurize the room with dry 30-40F air. I’d still have a thermostat controlled AC to keep things consistent if/when things do heat up. Murphy’s Law = indoor grow. Preparing for the worst is something every grower should be doing. How well do u think 8 xxxl magnum hoods with 1000 watt bulbs and phantom ballast would light it I can get them cheap like 900 for all
Why assume only 1 per light with those lights you wouldn' be running an efficient space with less than 14!! Good luck btw!!4 on each side isle in the middle i think would kill it. scrog em out grow em nice and big haha probably a 2 month veg or so on em. should get over the 8lb mark for sure
ive chose to ignDon't listen to johnny he's an idiot.
right which was gonna be the layout of the room, you achieve a good number by cross lighting with the 315, in return double the area almost for 30 extra watts every 2 fixturesHonestly. stated he should get over the 1 per light for sure bud. some people can only get 1 per light, others get 2 or very closeWhy assume only 1 per light with those lights you wouldn' be running an efficient space with less than 14!! Good luck btw!!
I still don’t think cmh penetrates like a QB. The lower you hang a cmh to the canopy you risk heat and you shrink the coverage. Overlapping QB’s have higher PPF than cmh and you can lower with great coverage. Though coverage with 2 315’s over a 4x4 might do it with higher temps..ive chose to ign

I been looking into this lamp. The specs and numbers are unreal. Just mind blowing. Lower a little more in price..this could be a game changer. Any good threads on the hlg 550? Sounds too good to be true.Like I said, I’m trying the HLG 550’s that I’ve seen as cheap as $850 that draw 510 from the wall and produce about 1200 PPF @1760 btu’s. That’s comparable heat to a 430w HPS with the output of a 1000w SE
