I fully support the country taking care of vets that were in some way affected by their service.

People who never even fired their weapon outside of training, not so much, why should they get a free ride? What did they sacrifice? Weren't they remunerated for their pencil pushing?

Real vets are laughing at his bullshit.

Ah but in my preferred system a vet wouldn't need benefits because we'd look after everyone equally with UBI.

And I mean everyone, no means testing.

Progressive income taxation to pay for it all, obviously.

What I do have a problem with is people who claim the valor of true heroes (after never firing his rifle out of training) and claims benefits but wishes to deny them to others.

But par to the course, you missed the fucking point as usual.

Dude I don't need any benefits but I want them for other people regardless.

The dickhead who claims vets benefits but never actually did anything dangerous wants to deny benefits to other people.
