Pistils turning brown week 3

If they get fertilized they turn brown and shrivel prematurely... Other than that I don't know.

Broad mites could also be the problem. They actually turn the pistols Brown and eat them though. What makes them so hard to deal with is that the naked eye can hardly seem them and most people won't know they even have a problem until the damage they've done becomes visible. Other than that, they're either an extremely fast flowering strain or they've become pollinated.

Edit: After looking at your pics, it's not broad mites. The upper leaves would be twisted and shrunken too.

Could be a random male flower popped up somewhere, or pollen entered the room some other way. I'm not saying it definitely happened, simply that it is the only way I am aware of to get premature browning and shriveling of the pistils.

If your pistils are turning brown already on clones.... probably a root problem. Did you over water them a lot and now they're rotting? Or maybe you let them dry out too much before watering and they sucked up some salts?

Its not hear because my temp at 67-75

Humility at 40-50


I did do foliar spray, and i was plan on keep doing it every week, should i not?


I water/feed them every 4-5 days, so i know its not over watered.



So i have 12 plants in this tent,

Jay 4-5 are turning brown, but there is one thats the worse. All the pistils arw brown and shiveled up

Stop foliar feeding because you dont need to, certainly in flower & Im willing to bet your pistols stop turning brown prematurely. Foliar feeding in flower is asking for mold and mildew.

Its fine and will start making new white pistols from the buds as it continues to grow. Those buds look relatively young so once you get to harvest you probably will never know it was like that. My advice.....dont "over love" the plant. It often hurts more than it helps. They are a robust plant by nature and generally aren't that fragile and often manage to find a way to thrive even in not so good conditions. Let mother nature do her thing and if she needs something, or doesn't like something- she will let you know. Like she did with the browning pistols haha. Good luck!

I agree with hydrored. Certain types of sprays can turn pistols brown in flower, especially potassium. Example, stay away from using safer soap' s insecticidal soap, as well as green cure and those potassium silicate sprays in flower. Most plants will show signs of phytotoxicity if you do. Just let them finish on their own. Hopefully they'll bounce back.

So the only foliar i was plan on using are,

Budd factor C by advanced Nutes

True blooms by primordialsolutions

Snow storm by humbolts country own


And they all are very known companies

Maybe i over used it,

Because its supposed to be 1-2 ml per gallon,

And i used 1 ml for my liter sprayer thinking its okay

So i wont do any foliar for atleast a week.

My next feeding is in couple days. Should i do anything special?

I an using AN, complete line up,
W botianicare cal mag and GH armor si

I mean they are on 25.,

And i feel like they have not changed in past 10 days,
I did defoliate them on day 19.

Because t got realllly bushy in there.

But when should i start seed some budd, or when will these pistils/buddlets start getting fatter, they were flipped on the 9th so 4th week is almost over.

When i start seeing more budd and less leafs, like fatt colas/bugs.

Ok, theres a couple things I want to address in this post:

1. You're using too many bottles of "stuff" that you really dont need. Ever hear of the K.I.S.S. method? (Keep It Simple Stoner)
You have everything in there but spaghetti sauce. Get rid of all the "bloom boosters" (first 3 you listed) along with the GH Armor silica & Mammoth P and just run your basic AN 3 part with the cal/mag since you are under led's.

2.Yes, you overused it and in a way that it isnt really meant to be used. Feed it by feeding the roots, not the foliage.
Also, you need to somewhat adhere to the directions on the bottles of the AN feed because they are there for a reason. Keep in mind the amounts of feed they recommend per gallon of water is for plants at optimal & peak growing.
Its too early for bloom boosters and there is no need for 4 different bloom enhancers on top of your 3 part. For the average grower, 1 bloom enhancer is overkill outside of their 3 part. If you do use it, its in the last weeks of flower.
As for feeding I would recommend using half of the amount the directions state to use of each per gallon. With the cal/mag I would suggest using 3ml per gallon.

3. DO NOT FOLIAR FEED IN FLOWER -AT ALL. NONE, NO MORE, STOP DOING IT.

As for their size, I think as you gain more experience and learn a bit more about how plants feed you will see a greater increase in the size of your buds and the quality you get from them. There were some mistakes made during this grow and your crop will reflect this, but thats how we learn.
