"75% humidity at 81F? sounds like a good way to get mold.
Im a noob, but i assume if grow conditions are kept under control with adequate airflow, mold won't be an issue."
Typically in weeks one and two, the plants are drinking less as they fully enter the flower cycle. Their root mass is still growing, and they are on their way to maturation. In this stage, the VPD should be around 8.0-11 which is a temperature of 77° – 79°F and 65 – 75 percent humidity.
Once the plants are in flowering and need to uptake more nutrients, the VPD should be around 10-13.5. This would be weeks three through four. To achieve this, temps would be a bit lower around 75° – 77°F with a humidity around 55 – 65 percent.
As you move through the flower stage, the VPD would then follow to between 13-15.5 in weeks five through nine. This would mean lower temps around 74° – 76°F and a relative humidity between 42 – 51 percent. This cooler and drier condition will allow the medium to dry out more evenly so that you could have more consistency with irrigation dry downs. The cooler temps will also better preserve the terpenes on the plant."

Sexymy last grow is hanging should be dry enough to trim tomorrow View attachment 4053282
I'd avoid getting grow know from hightimes, they aren't very good growers mostly just an advertising/marketing company."

mold is no joke for sure for some reason everything I've grown here that has sour'diesel in it has tried to moldon me since I insulated my room & put in the tents nothing has tried to mold but once you've had to fight it you learn the value of not letting the humidity climb above 60% if you can help it as well as trying to keep night temps from getting out of hand not to mention there are other bacteria that thrive in those temps as well as insect larvae75% humidity at 81F? sounds like a good way to get mold.
So much of this industry is broscience from what im learning on my first grow. Im on a mission to find out the truth so i can grow some dispensary quality bud at home, wherever the info may come from.I'd avoid getting grow know from hightimes, they aren't very good growers mostly just an advertising/marketing company.

VPD is a staple in greenhouses nowadays.

for a first time grower you ask for a lot
I'm still on the learning curve with both of my leds as well as the tents leds are different than hps & the white cobs are different than the osram chips the California light works uses which are blurple but are different than the Chinese blurple such as the epistar onesRight on. She grows a sweet plant.
Osram just made a 307 lm/w green light...saw this only recently when i was looking for the lm301b specs. I wonder if i can add that into a light bar....I'm still on the learning curve with both of my leds as well as the tents leds are different than hps & the white cobs are different than the osram chips the California light works uses which are blurple but are different than the Chinese blurple such as the epistar ones
I live in a climate like yours. Add a tray of water inside the tent where the intake comes in. should bump you to 35-38. I usually start out around 22% and by flower be at 39-45 from the added humidity in my house (i vent inside house for free heat and humidity for my hardwood). I have a house humidifier but it doesn't seem to keep up.How critical to you feel that is. In Colorado, being the high desert, it is very difficult to maintain a humidity like that in personal grows.
I live in colorado too, just add more plant mass and humidity will increase. We are entering the dry season for me that means i can finally turn off my dehumidifier.I live in a climate like yours.
