I have to agree with you on this one. If Franken turned Republican he could not only keep his seat, he'd be endorsed by Trump and be a contender for the presidency in an open field. The pussy grabber in chief with the superior number of beavers in his collection would, of course, win.

They all were. it's just that dems have moral compass and leaving was the right thing to do given the current political climate. Last I heard it was 2, today it's 8. I like Al and always have sorry to see him go, he was an effective Senator.

Men are pigs. Everyone knows that. But some women are gold diggers and everyone also knows that. I like Al but hear he is a bit of a deuche in person. Still, he did not rape anyone. His harrassment accusations deserve an investigation to either clear his name or brand him as guilty.

Oh sure, that picture of him making to grab a sleeping woman's boobs was fake. Five women have come forward. This isn't a legal trial. He's not at risk of the state depriving him of his liberty. Franken didn't even deny some of the allegations. It's a privilege to serve in the Senate and I'm glad Franken is being held to a level of propriety that we should expect of everybody.

Yet again, it's the people who oppose the degradation of women and the women who come forward who are criticized. The only thing I regret is that the voters in his state were deprived or their choice to serve them in the Senate. I regret that Franken's behavior happened at all.

That picture does not show him touching anything, his hands are not on her. But the picture is what killed him. Franken has denied most of the allegations or said he does not remember things the way the women do.

yeah not cool. it is however the standard they set for themselves. the latest accusation for Franken for example is fucking anonymous. he is a complete douche for sure but how are you supposed to address that?

You are automatically believing the accused. When it was one woman, I was willing to take a wait and see position. But five?

This shit has been going on for practically forever. It is so common that every woman I've ever been close to has told me similar stories. It's so common that we should believe the woman first instead of what you are doing.

We aren't talking about a legal trial. Franken is leaving the Senate, not even being sued. No need for the level of evidence needed in an actual trial.
