Testing our precious medicine / cannabis in CANADA.. MyDx, CannaDx & Spectroscopy.

Hey folks,

Don here just looking to pool any feedback, links, or info on testing our favourite plant. American based Labs, albeit great to see them spreading their reach, please do not share here, as those won't help us Canadians much!

I see that the product I highlighted last year has made its way to market successfully..
its called MyDx and they make a portable tester for air, water, herb, produce, you name it.

I am specifically interested in the OrganaDx and CannaDx Sensors, please see pic #2.

Now, I am aware that Near Infra Red Spectroscopy along with wet chemistry (HPLC) is going to possibly be a bit more accurate, I have attached some info on that as well, but again, any user feedback, real life stories, etc etc, are always welcome. For a bit on this, please see attached pdf.

Pretty sure that mydx product is a bust...quick Google search will show you some less then appealing reviews. As per the government of Canada website lists some companies that will test your cannabis. I haven' looked into it much but am interested to send some samples away.

I’ve sent samples to the gov and it took over 4 months to get results back. And their accuracy I’m not positive on tbh

Pretty sure but you don't know anyone personally having issues?
The company is growing fast so must be doing something right.

Not looking to have the government involved either. I would rather spend 20k then have them involved actually. Privately ran labs or personal tester for at home, are the far better options in my opinion.

You make a good point, haha, those assholes are way too big and clunky that they take way too long to do anything.

Any feedback on this device, anyone else?

I'm pretty sure the links they provide are third party companies? I work for a third party testing company but not in the cannabis field. I'm just stating the reviews online aren't good... but try it and let me know I'll take your word
