They don't care as long as we don't hold them accountable for the truth.
So whose fault is the post truth world?


Ours.

Hyperventilation.

Because it's easier to blame someone than to actually be a part of the solution.

I got it.

As a student of history, I'm starting to see a lot of parallels between the geopolitical situation of today and that if the world just before the outbreak of WWII.

Lying politicians and their blindly supportive mobs are just another disturbing point of similarity.

I made it about 30 minutes into it. It's not bad if one is looking to be entertained with something that provokes thought. It relies upon simplistic re-telling of history overlaid with conspiracy theories. It is exactly the kind of fodder that those two love to cram down because it tells you what to think.

That's an excuse you use to avoid addressing the points being made because you can't address them with logic or reason. I could type out the points being made in the clips that are posted, but as usual, you would just respond with "TL : DR", like usual. Another excuse you use to avoid the points being made when text is provided. The more you avoid the substance of our posts the more you prove our point.

Dude, I didn't say it was false. I think the documentary is historically accurate. It is also very well done and I'd recommend watching it. BUT, it was a bit over the top in terms of "we are presenting secrets and for the first time you will finally understand the REAL truth about what is really happening". The bingo card was spot on satire and completely explains my reservations about taking the documentary as if it were something important. BUT it wasn't bad and I might finish watching it because there are some really interesting historical video in that documentary. I might turn the sound off because I don't like when people tell me what to think.

The reality is, our history over the past 50 years is a messy accident, driven by common human nature, greed of the wealthy, and exhaustion followed by laziness of baby boomers after the protests and strife of the civil rights and Vietnam era. What it was not was an orderly easily explained conspiracy like the one portrayed in that video.
