really well ive never used coca. i wouldn't imagine the coca require a different ph then what the plant it self wants but im sure yous all know allot more about it then i. a few % off doesn't seam to make allot of difference from my experiences so far. i have read allot on the topics of ph but haven't come across anything saying coca is only effective with in them ranges. more research is needed

Growing medium most definitely changes the optimal pH range when growing cannabis. If you run a DWC grow at the pH levels that are typical for a soil grow you will have problems. I'd be careful handing out advice in regards to processes you have little to no experience with. It's a good way to help someone with even less experience than you mess up a grow. I'm sure you have the best of intentions, but please be cautious.

Coco is actually considered hydro, so like a couple others have mentioned, get the pH down closer to the 6.0 range.

Have a look at any coco specific nutrients and what they suggest, also google nutrient uptake chart for hydro or soilless mediums. There are certain ranges that lock out one element or another.
One of the most common reasons for a problem in coco is PH been wrong and locking out nutrients.

fair enough i i decided to google on the topic about and i sure noticed a allot of people suggesting the optimal ranges is 6 to 6.2. i dont run a coco specific nutrients. i have seen lock out in one of my 1st grows where the ph wouldn't go lower then 7.8 purple stems and nitrogen deficiency mag problems you name it the plants had it yet still got 3oz of rock hard skunk. in door is for sure more technical the growing out doors.

handing out advice ??? i am not i am seeking it. i am in no was calming to know anything about coca hints being here and why i said i never used coca

I have made that mistake before, cheaping out on dehydrated block. It needs rinsing till its clear which takes gallons and gallons of water. Otherwise its very high in K and Na which will cause you problems, the Na more than the K.

Easiest way I found is to put it in a pillow case and run a hose or shower through it for about 10mins, if you smash it about its a bit quicker.

Since your already growing in it, flush it, come back an hour later and flush it again and measure the EC run off.
Good coco that's pre buffered straight out of the bag still contains a lot of K and will release it over time, that's why most coco specific nutrients are lower in K. Normally I wouldn't recommend measuring the EC of run off due to this reason, but that block stuff needs a serious flush.

You might not notice an issue in veg, but in flower you will probably end up with a lock out due to salt build up.

So I have a question over in this thread to do with measuring runoff ec and I noticed you mentioning something about that, I could use some advice if you got a minute
