The day I've got a spare 10k. I'll be laughing. I've never had more than 3k saved in my bank- ever.

Ideally- at least for me. My plans are to have a place where I can do as much or as little as I choose.

Nothing huge. 2 bedroom is heaps. Master bedroom decked out with inbuilt wardrobe and own bathroom. Where the kitchen and lounge room share open design.

I'd collect rain water. Probably have two 1k liter tanks. First tank runs into the second. I'd run grey water to the garden beds. And keep a couple chooks to supply a few bumnuts per week. Use their soiled bedding as mulch. Let them roam the garden looking for snails and other fuckfaces to eat.

That kind of thing.

Sounds like a good plan I’d go for bigger water ranks though at least 2x10,000 litres ,you can never have enough fresh water

Gave some of my plants there last tipping of the season. Kc33 ,skunk, mexican and bush sativas. Should have another 6 weeks of growth. Will tip the gth1 ,gorilla bomb, jack herer, blue afghoo next week. Some of us don't have 20k to spare. Also. I'm not looking to mount my solar to the roof. I want a standalone unit

If I were to have 10k liters or more. I'd want to make that my main supply. Especially in a place as wet as this. Also. I find town/city supply typically doesn't taste very nice.

Hopefully I can achieve these sustainability goals one day.

And it's things like this that make me not want to get seeds from anywhere other than the baggies I buy on occasion. Can't even garuntee you'll get your beans from online. Let alone through local post.

Can only hope i spose... lived in vic for last 5 years first few years never missed a beat musta been 20+ orders i recon, 1 was a no show but it turned up few days b4 the resend i choped it up to getting lost for abit lol. Then i had a break... nahhh it was a cunt of a misses till i seen the light. Now im back where i should be just maybe in the wrong state haha. I did score some auto's off sed mate few fast bud GSC, thc bombs, 2 fast 2 vast they go alright for an auto. He chucked me some of his freebies aswell nothing im stoked on but hey there free until i can sort this shit out...

1k isn' throw away money..my last order was 1100 fuck before that is never gone over 300 lol

im running a 46000 litre water tank and it gets down low towards the end of summer. Even that size is not enough to heavily water say a nice vegie patch or lawns. I also run grey water to a vegie patch. I must admit I haven't grown veges in a few years. Damn animals kept getting into em.

I agree, town water tastes bad and smells. That chlorine is noticeable when you are not used to it.

Once again I'm being notified of my lack of experience in what would be required. Guess I'm used to this place raining 3/4 of the year. Our 1000L gets topped up frequently.

That tank runs my whole house tho. We don't have town water in the area.

Agreed the town water here is loaded with chlorine stinks bad i let that shit sit for 2 days if i dont wanna use the tanks... tanks are the go as pure as it gets and if ya have the room for em you can never have to much water on hand for the hot days...
