All looking okay so far... smelly lil buggers tho... Got a ionizer that works great.. Don't worry folks it's not in my grow room!

Do you have a check valve on your air pump. I just noticed that your pump was below your plant. If you don't have a check valve, if the power goes out or something the tubing will act like a syphon and cause possible electrical malfunction. That plant looks damn good.

No I don't have a check valve on my pump & I think I see your point - So I should move pump higher to stop it possibly pumping water into pump if there is power failure?..

Hi all - Just thought I would update the thread with some new pics taken today.

I trimmed most of the lower leaves, esp the yellow & smaller leaves to let more light through to buds on the lower stalks etc. as there are some nice little buds that were receiving no direct light..hoping this was a good move, don't wanna buther my babies too much..

They are Receiving approx 800/1000ppm nutes, still watering 15 mins per day 6 times a day (drip feed) PH 5.8 ish

Yeah they have shot up in the last 7 days at least 10 inches...

If you check my gallery it's like 'flick book' of my grow from seedling to flowering - it's amazing comapring pics I only took a couple of weeks ago. Big thanks to everyone who has inputted so far

Ok so here they are at 47 days flowering, I flushed them good & proper last week & I reckon they have about another 3 weeks left?.. about 25% of the hairs have turned amber..

Should I reduce the amount of light as I read this can make them produce more tricromes or should I keep on 12/12... any advice would be much appreciated..

Nice looking colas! Hmmmm....yum.

Do NOT reduce your light! At least not yet. There is one study or theory (I forget which) that says to keep in 24 hrs darkness just before you harvest and your THC content could increase by roughly 1%. Also, do not go by the pistils turning as the determination whether the plant is ready for harvest. You need to check your trichomes and when roughly 3/4 are amber, she's ready. Good luck!

No problem. Remember you need at least 30x magnification. On mine, I had to use 100X to see the trichs well enough to tell when they turned.

That's a relief... the loupe i'm getting is exactly 30x magnification..I'm hoping it will be strong enough to be able to tell if they're ready or not..

Ok here's the lowdown, I have my two flowering plants in 24 hours of darkness before I harvest them tomorrow morning most of the thichomes have turned creamy & there are mostly yellow leaves which makes me wonder if I over fertalized at some point? although I have had them on just water for the last two weeks.. pics to follow of the harvest 'festival' tomorrow...

In the mean time, here's one of the two WW (topped this time) that are gonna replace my other two:
