My reoccurring nightmare.

Hello everyone,

So, I decided to follow advice and start fresh, planted a new seed. Again, the lower fan leaves are starting to have sighs of drying out leaves. All signs show nitrogen deficiency, I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Like my previous grows, it’s an reoccurring problem. I know the ppm is low but the all mix should cover the rest. Their growing chart, recommends 1ml through the whole grow.

Thanks

Nothing a dose of calcium nitrate wouldn't fix but that wouldn't be organic.

The answer is in your own words. You're underfeeding. It's rare these days but easily corrected. You need to bump up the nitrogen and I would suspect that you need additional micro nutrients as well. That Biobizz light mix doesn't have much of anything in it and the Biobizz grow has almost three times as much potassium as it does nitrogen. I don't know what's in the heaven but it's not enough. I rarely say this but you are not feeding enough.

Thanks for all you help...yes the NPK is 4-3-6 seems pretty low or a grow product. It is transplanted in an All-mix for 4-5 weeks now and added bat guano to the soil mix..i guess its eating it all up.
ok ill get back to you soon

I try not to focus on feeding too much, it seems to be nitrogen def.. However, two weeks later, I’m noticing rising levels of PH about 7,5 now! When I first started its was under 6.8, albeit with some yellowing of the bottom leaves from the first couple of weeks. Also the PH meter counts very slowly when measuring the run-off.

9th week of flowering

So my questions are:

What did cause the ph to rise? The biobizz soil All-Mix should balance to PH 6.5

Did the bat guano mess with the micro-organisms of the soil?

Shall I flush with PH 6 water with vinegar?

I’ve tried with various bio bizz soil mixes, with extra perlite, coco coir ect, different pots and always have the reoccurring issue after 5-6 weeks. Is the pot too small? 14L

I’m not having much luck with the organic growing, maybe as a newbie I should of started with inorganic, maybe easier?

Thank you all for the help.

Have you used any Epsom?...The extra Mg is a must for LED. The old growth lost won't recover but new growth will be just fine. Foliar now for something quick and then start adding it every time to your water.

9 weeks of veg huh.. Damn. My clones look like this after about a week and change...

Your plants are fucking starving. They are on their way to death at this point. Correct your pH imbalance ASAP and get them the nutrients they need.

Feed them with some actual food, not the products you are using now.

It's normal. You added things to the soil so the PH is going to change.

Did the bat guano mess with the micro-organisms of the soil?
Doubtful but adding anything changes things. How much did you add? Too much is just as bad as not enough.

Shall I flush with PH 6 water with vinegar?
I wouldn't but others would say you should.

Your pot is big enough.

Yes it would be easier. But you've come this far you might as well finish this one out organic. I think for best results in organic soil you need to build your own. Look into making your own Super Soil and teas. That's what the guys getting great results and great tasting weed are doing. I'm getting ready to do an organic run in a few months myself.

If you want advice on organic growing you should be in this subforum http://rollitup.org/f/organics.59/

Seems to be a heavy nitrogen deficiency. If you're watering at ph 7, it's way too high..drop it by a point! I see some other little spots on a couple leaves..have you been changing the ph too much too quickly? The issue is most certainly not a lack of cal-mag! As for bat guano..remember, it takes quite some time before that would be available to your plants, it's not instant like adding a chemical fertilizer. Also, if you have too much potassium going in and sitting in your medium, that would lockout nitrogen, which seems to be the issue here, along with a high ph!
