It has nothing to do with weed. Smoke, aka air, is the issue. If you got receding gums then talk to a dentist and take their advice. Asking a bunch of stoners isn't going to do you any favors.

I think this issue happens to me because when I'll smoke a joint I'll just drink some water and go to bed. Instead if I would brush my theeth right after smoking this problem could have been prevented .

Guess what I spoke to a specialist and he told me why my buttom theeth gums are receding. It' actualy shocking it has nothing to do with smoking weed or actualy smoking that causes it. It' because when I had braces for to long but it' not the braces though that causes this, it' because moving theeth to much and long periods of years actualy causes gum receding. My cousin has same problem she had braces for 5 years me 8 my other cousin dosent have gum receding but she only had braces for 2 years

I'm in my sixties and been smokin forever, seriously growin since the eighties. Them days I did a lot of guerilla growing (secret locations out of doors) and you'd have to get a seriously good strain to get decent buds. I grew a lot and smoked a lot (and the ex) but used to get cold sores every winter. "you're run down" or "bad diet" bollocks! Whatever looked like cold sore wasn't contagious or viral cause it was doing the same to my gums. My teeth came loose one by one from age 45 to 55. same happened to my ex although by then we were apart. Smoking decent indoor only creates them sores if it's too green (chlorophyll) or wet. Cold sores stopped late 90s for me. My operations went indoor also in the 90s. No more green leafy weed

You might have an allergy or an another underlying problem. It's actually supposed to be good for you. Every green vegetable people eat contains it.They make supplements you can buy in almost any drug store or walmart.

smoking causes receeding gums due to lack of oxygen to the teeth and other parts of the body. i mean like a pack a day aka 20g smoked tobacco a day. i dont think a cannabis habit would do the same thing since the amounts smoked are much different. now i just need someone to tell me they smoke 20g/day of the good shit flossx1/day brushx2/day and stay away from tobacco. vaping and edibles are an option. i recently had to have this talk with the dentist
