1 week from Harvest bad Spider mite/unknown infetion

Hi, so i did a lot of research, but all 100 posts about this didn't cover the core questions i had about my problem, so here i am with more specifics.

I have bad infestation of spider mites, and i am one week away from harvest, at this point practicly all my fan leafs where yellow and disformed, but now i started to see web on them, so basically i flushed the plant and cut all the fan leafs, but by doing so i notices something else!

Lover buds on my plant ( the ones with less light) Had been webed, and they look discolored, and feel britle to the touch almost loks like mold. And leafs under mycrocope have many many black spots. So my question is simple, what can i do with them?
Are they smokable?
Should i make butter from them?
Should i just dispose of them?

Well i did some mistakes, the problem was WHEN the hardcore infestation started, I was sure I was few weeks from harvest, since i was growing autoflower Northen lights who should be ready 9-10 weeks after planting, but thats not the case!!!
I planted it July 1 and now its 26 of november and it still has week to grow. So the infestation got more time then it neded to take it over :/

Now i removed all the fan leafs, hoping it would get better, but the buds are loosing color fast, its looking really bad. i will prob have to remove evry single leaf on those buds, but i hope the end producs will be somwhat smokable.


About mold - while it looks dameged, it dosent look like mold. + i have actinovate lawn and garden and i use it weekly so i should be ok in that particular field ? no ?

And i keep really low humidity about 24 % so is it even posible for mold to grow?

Bottom line, if it's gotten this far and you've only recently seen spider webs, you've not spent enough attention to each individual plant. I know how it goes, I've been there too. Sometimes it's easy to think everything's ok, but NOTHING, BUT NOTHING replaces actual eyes on all surfaces of plants each and every day. I dealt with spider mites, root aphids, green aphids, whiteflies, thrips, fungus gnats, and worst of ALL...........BROAD MITES! Potassium salts of fatty acids will completely fuck them up, but the pistils will get burned most likely, which deters most of us from using them in flower. If There are many solutions to spider mites, they're really not the worst problem you could see. Broad mites are BY FAR THE WORST shit that you could have tobdeal with. Just keep spraying the shit out of em with some kind of non-potassium oil spray and pray your buds survive long enough. Green cleaner works but IS mildly phytotxic, depending on your strain. I would look around and see what's available for cheaper though. I've heard that Rodrigrows works well so long as you are diligent with it. All these oil based sprays are dependent on you making DIRECT CONTACT with the adults AND their eggs for complete eradication. Hope that helps.

You have to watch the plants closely every day. Checking under leaves on all the plants. Having a microscope to check them.

Spider mites are easier to catch. You have to have your weapons and a plan before they strike. even just Bronner's peppermint soap, water and a spray bottle. Or 50% 91% alcohol and 50% water. You cannot delay, you have to attack.

Broad mites/Russets are almost impossible to detect and fight. Bug Time Exterminator and Nuke Em supposedly work.

I fought them with Forbid 4F followed by a combo of Bronners with added Peppermint oil that I added 10 drops, Neem oil, Rosemary, Cedarwood, Lemon Grass, Clove oil. You can also throw in cheap Canola plus a few drops of soap. Get under the leaves. Hit em every other day if you have to. I also used a one or two aspirn a gallon spray on off days to fire up the plants defenses.

What do you use for thrips and what is "Rodigrows"? .

It's just another overpriced oil based spray like countless others, but it uses coconut oil instead of many of the other ones. I'm not 100% sold on it just yet because I've only been experimenting with samples, but have had positive results so far. The only reason I decided to use it is because "supposedly" coconut oil leaves less residual when making concentrates from the trim. I don't make concentrates myself, but the guys who do with my trim say it works better than most.

I love coconut oil and coconut on (unhealthy) donuts or in pies. What are you using and how much per gallon of water?
What bugs will it kill?

Supposedly aloe liquid and silca (?) mixed can kill mites., I do not know the mix in 1 gallon of water???

Go to Wal Mart and you can get 32 oz of 3% hydrogen peroxide for .88 cents. Buy 2 dump them in 1 gallon sprayerer and do 50/50% water and hydrogen peroxide H2O2 and spray.

Or a little less H2O2 then add some 70% or 91% rubbing ISO alcohol and a few drops of dish soap. See below for instructions.

I always try to make sure the plants are bug free before flipping. Got a few mites and a couple thrips now in my small veg plants but should be rid of them with another spray or two.

I'm using Safer's concentrated Ends All II mixed a bit stronger than instructed by 10% or so. Works as good as anything else if you do it 3 or 4 times 3 days apart. For the last spray I use it with a bit of neem oil. I also lay the plants on their sides and work from the bottom up moving branches and leaves out of the way to get EVERY little bit of leaf and stem surface then stand them up and work from the top down doing the same. The Ends All is just their Safer's Soap with added pyrethiums so non-toxic. Don't need gloves tho the mist gives me a tickle in my throat with a bit of light coughing so will use a dust mask next time if doing a lot. Spray then set away from the light and fan until dry. Plain RO water for a rinse under the leaves at light's out so the stomata don't get plugged up. Just a quick spray on the tops is enough.
