Hydro I worked for a postal/shipping Co. for over 30 years. The last thing you want is something rattling around in a box. That is a reason to open it up and do what is called a "rewrap".

I was a mail clerk/carrier for usps in a previous life... I worked rewrap for some time, most of it going too and coming from GIs in Nam.. As long as the package is not breached it doesn't get re-wrapped.. Anything that rattled but was intact was delivered with insurance forms... I had a buddy in Hawaii who sent me weed for years (76-86) always with coffee beans.. Never had a problem...

I'm trying to ship 2 bottles of alcohol (not weed). I've wrapped it but it sloshes, will they open it? Any ideas, thanks.

As long as it's domestic mail, wrapped so it can be dropped 10 feet without breaking it will probably make it... priority insured... I don't think they can open it just because it sloshes.. its perfume or whatever..
Honestly, after working re-wrap I've never sent anything breakable thru the mail... Even fragile don't drop gets handled pretty rough... We had to go thru smashed boxes of stuff parents were sending.. pick out what was good for re wrap and catalog the rest... Hopefully things aren't still the same..

33 years in shipping and delivery. I won't say which one. If I were shipping I would vacuum seal. I would vacuum seal the weed then I would wash bag and vacuum seal it again. Trust me! Delivery drivers don't have time to be looking at the boxes. They really don't give a fuck what you're getting. The only time I ever even looked was when a fine ass woman was getting something a couple of times a week. I might take a look at the sender name to see if she was getting a vibrator or dildo. LOL. (I never opened boxes.)
If shipping
1 Make sure you have a good sturdy box
2 put your vacuum sealed bags in.
3 I like using styrofoam popcorn as filler
4 Use certified packing tape. Tape good, but don't overdo it.
5 Make sure to ship to a real address.
6 Ship from a UPS or FedEx store.
On the receiving end
1 Use real address
2 Use a fake name
3 If the driver asks for a signature, cut your losses and say you've not ordered anything. Refuse the package.
And for dogs. I have never seen dogs in our facility. They would slow things down too much and the company would not want to be liable for a dog or police to get their arms ripped off in a convory belt. I can only speak for what went on at our facility

Spray the bag with Ozium instead of washing and seal in vacuum bag.

Spray it with that and seal. Double coverage. We only seized 2 boxes. It was the smell that gave them away
I was complimented by the Feds on my techniques.

I used a large candle, hollowed out, saved the wax, then melted it and re-sealed.
And I sent it Fed Ex from the US through Canadian customs.
Wax is impermeable.

I sent some moonshine to a friend in norway. Their customs caught it. They held it till my friend went there and paid an import tax on the booze. Lols

Damn, at least they didn't crush it like they do our seeds. I'd gladly pay the import tax if offered the option without jail as a secondary consequence.
