SCROG defoliation

Hey guys I would like to ask you about defoliating SCROG this plant is 7 weeks in veg wanna put her to flower any day now just im a bit scared of mold a bit later because she is VERY bushy as you can see, so should I completely cut everything that is under the net, then let her regenerate 1-2 days and switch to flower ? I did a bit defoliation even now but only fan leaves.

I flattened the canopy a bit at least, should I switch the light to 12/12 ? Will try to bend it till 3weeks in flower then stop, Thanks for all reply
But still im a bit scared about that under growth should I cut it or itll strech in flower up on net ?

Please explain why, without simply linking to another site. Looks like a scrog to me. Screen? Check. Plant? Check. Plant growing into screen? Check. What else is there really?

Yes trim up the shit under the screen and i mean everything, maybe lower the screen or raise the plant up whatever is easier. Your going to have to tie branches down till week 2 or 3 flower. Honestly the plant looks a little too big for your area, but we will see wont we.
 
Thanks alot for all replys, Ok so I cutted alot of really thin and weak branches that didnt made it to the net, tied all other that could go under and now should I switch it or wait day or two so she can regenerate ?

Well.. the screen in a true SCROG is installed at a height of about 8 inches above the plant. That's the first issue. Maybe you should click on that link. Has pictures and everything!
 
I did really red it whole just the branches are too stiff to bend :/ so much now already almost broke one trying it but next time will know anyway thanks alot for the link
 
So guys again update a bit, still trying to save at least half/Scrog, anyway again a bit about switching , should I leave her to rest after that huge clipping of leaves and branches like 1-2 days and then flip her or now ?? Thanks

OP never said what the screen distance is.. and he even asked if he should lower it. Now you say the only thing wrong is that it should be 8 inches over the dirt.
Thats retarded to say thats the only thong thats a scrog. A scrog is a screen of green. Theres a screen and a plant growing into it.

Please explain how what he did is not a scrog, without relying on that one link. I could link to anything claiming anything, and some corner of the internet would say whatever.

So why dont you try to give some real advice

Yea thats a plant thats held together by pvc, amd a screen worthlessly dangling.. no shit thats not a scrog and also not what the op is doing.




@FerretHD go ahead an flower it now its already pretty big, it doesnt need time to recover youll be pruning it till week 4 anyways. By week 4 you shouldnt have any weak buds left, just prun ruthlessly

leave a week before flipping after the last trimming
