I originally thought it was maybe some deficiency that I had sorted, until I read further... then I checked under one of the leaves and saw the horror.... spider mites!! How the hell they got in I haven’t a clue (they are in a tent - 2nd floor, and it’s winter....)... but it’s clear they are... dilemma is that it’s sunday and New Years tomorrow... bank holiday Monday, so I cannot get any predatory mites until Thursday next week or cannacure until Tuesday... I’ve sprayed the underside of the leaves with plain water to wash them off as best I could, is there any other cures or am I screwed??

I used Quantum Apocalypse once 3 years ago and have never had mites again. So I’d definitely recommend it. And it’s also 100% organic!

Well, as far as mites go you've seem to have found them early because I don't see a lot of telltale damage. Spider mites are a major problem once you've gone to flower. They don't like humidity, but too much of that can be a problem for the flowers too. You may want to consider making an insecticidal soap. You have a bit of time.

Also, make sure you treat your entire grow space before starting more.

I was in the same boat recently. Since you're in flower it is a sin to spray anything. For me, anything, even something organic like Green Cleaner is out of the question during flowering.

A couple more days isn't going to make that much difference so I would wait for the predator mites.

One thing, the persimilis that are usually sold for spider mite predators don't do very well in a 12/12 light regime.

I found that using a mix of californicus, swirskii and cucumeris along with the persimilis gave me a much better survival rate than using persimilis alone.

It took multiple applications and it wasn't cheap but I got rid of mine without spraying a drop of anything.

Good luck
