Do you give yours a dry day between waterings? Im thinking of trying a min dose(1-2ml per gal) at first so water dry feed dry water dry feed dry ect ect.

It averages out that i feed 1 tsp per gallon about twice a week.

I dont stick to a hard fast schedule.
Like i said, if i feel i need to i may do two feeds in a row but in general i alternate.
Sometimes i may skip a feed.
It just comes down to me judging

Bottom line
Its spendy compared to other options but i get good results with it.

I use the grow a few weeks into flower
Edit, you asked about a dry day?
I dont think in those terms
It either needs watered or not if that makes sense.

I would not ever recommend using the max dosage.

I use flovanova grow in Tupur mix and I typically use 1/4 teaspoon for early veg (180 ppm), 1/2 mid veg (220ppm) and 1 teaspoon (300+) if I'm growing big veg plants all with 1 teaspoon cal/mag. With some bigger plants I've vegged at 500 ppms but not too often.

For bloom I'm currently using 1 teaspoon flovanova grow, 1/2-1 teaspoon florabloom (pink bottle), 1 teaspoon cal/mag, 1/2 teaspoon liquid kool bloom (650-750ppm) and that's a little high in my opinion.

Floranova's full dosage would bee up around 2000ppms are something huge and that's just a waste of money and will cause more problems than solve them.

While this is an old picture, the plant was flowered out atbb.jpg around 600-700 ppm.

Ok well i gave tyem their first feed of floranova bloom yesterday and today theyre actualy got a good amount of frost on them consodering they didnt have any the day before so i will give them 1 more feed in 2 days time of 2ml per gal and then ill bump it up to 2.5ml per gal and each plant gets a litre

They also only take a day to dry up enough between waterings/feeds. So i will be using a method i herd of online elsewhere by doing feed water feed water feed water flush and then continue it from the start

Hmmm I'm over doing it then (coco grow under LED - FloraNova Bloom/white bottle). I'm currently using 2ml per 1.5 ltr of water (no issue with plants after a week at that level though) and watering every other day (mostly 5 gallon smart pots). I had thought the rough recommendation was build up to around 2ml per 1 ltr (or whenever your plants go "enough already").
To be honest they seemed fine with 1ml to 1 ltr

thanks.

Using higher rates don't necessarily mean you'll have problems, it's just plants don't typically use all the nutrients when we add in that much. Now if you're running hydro and co2 at 80-85 degrees then you'd want 2000ppms but at that point I'd think you'd already know all those things, lol. Cheers and hope you get some good smoke

Floranova settles so bad, even when I thought it was mixed it wasnt. Now I remix it using 50% boiling water and 50% FN and keep it in clear containers, makes it much easier to remix when its diluted like this. I opened a bottle recently and even after I shook it like a madman, I had 2 inches of sludge on the bottom that would never have been remixed if I didnt cut the bottle open and scrape it out.

I used to have that problem but my recent bottle of floranova is definitely less thick, it's running actually and is easy to mix. It doesn't seem to stick in the bottom like the old formulation.
