Hell yeah! those are looking like the makings of some plants! Let me be the first to send some positivity to your grow! are those feminized NL or randoms? My Aurora Indica grow is started a few days after yours so I will keep an eye on your grow to see if I am lagging or anything like that! The true leaves look healthy but I hope that all the new growth remains healthy for a long long time... Good Luck
They are randoms from Goldenseed (I don't think they're the one mixed with Skunk but I'm not sure:
Northern Lights Marijuana seeds ). Their shipping was fast and stealthy, btw.
I planted 5 of the 10 and I'll be seriously bummed if there are no females in the first batch. I need some weed NOW and I have no way to get it eeeee.
Pic from a few days ago (9/27?), showing some possible slight wilting and some yellow in between veins:
2 of the plants were a tad saggy like so:
I had a thread up in the problems forum looking for answers. I thought it might be over/underwatering (probably under, since after reading that many nubs overwater, I may have gone the other way). Or possibly a heat issue. It was up to 90F at one point when I added some additional bulbs. As of today I have an evaporative cooler so the temp and humidity are both looking much better. And I think the plants are looking better too.
Here are some more pics of the problems I thought I was having:
And one of the 2.5 that are looking really good:
And one of the whole setup yesterday or the day before. I now have more lights and I'll take a re-pic soon:
One thing I'm concerned with is their size. They'll be 2 weeks in soil in 2 days and I saw some pics that people had that seemed massive at this age. These are maybe 5in. across. I'll get a ruler in the next pic as well.
I'm going away for a few days later this month and I put together a drip feeder thingy™. I'll get some pics of that going once I pull it out to finalize it. I saw a youtube video (had like 10 parts to it) of a guy doing hydro and he used a similar thing to water his veg side. I got a digital programmable timer and I think I'm just going to have it kick off at the half-way mark of the trip for a minute or two. I still need to measure how much water comes out in that time though.
Some stats and info:
-Strain: Northern Lights
-Soil: Fox farm ocean forest
-Nuts used: None. Everything I read says not to nute until 2+ weeks and the FF bag allegedly says even for 4 weeks so I'm kind of doubtful about that yellowing being nute related(?). I have all 3 bottled FF liquids ready to go.
-Watering: I tried to be on the conservative side after reading so much about nubs overwatering. It is quite possible I underwatered instead lol. I have ramped up the water a tad, letting some come out the bottom, and watering only every 2-3 days as the upper soil just below the top starts to look dryish. I'm using steam-distilled water from the grocery store.
-Air: 79F atm. Fan blowing gently downward. The plants shimmer every so often in the breeze and are not being blown over or anything. Humidity was ~35%, now up to ~45% with the evaporative cooler I got today. I also have a regular humidifier that I may add if I'm not happy with testing the evap. cooler. I have another fan blowing out the closet door, which is cracked. It's probably not ideal, but I don't necessarily want to cut a whole in the door. I'm not sure what to do but maybe with the new cooler I'll test the temp with the door closed. There would be no good exit flow at that point though :/
-Lights: 2 4ft. T-4's, 6500k and 4 of those NVISION 23 watters ("100 equivalent" on the package), 2 6X00k and 2 3000k. I'm trying to keep the bulbs 1-2 inches away from the leaves. The fan definitely keeps the bulbs cooler than not having one, so it's serving dual-purpose there.
More latah...
