A civil debate?

Many religious people want to home school their kids if they can't afford private school. They want to shield them from scientific thought, from reason and logic that dispels religious dogma, from a young age. Now we have a third of Americans that can't think critically calling those that do indoctrinated. Hard to even call them hypocrites as any idea like hypocrisy or indoctrination is incomprehensible to them.
Home schooling is starting to be big here to, and yes its the religious loonies driving it.

A friend of mine is a religious loony and home schools and they don't get taught anything that contradicts their beliefs. Like evolution, homosexuality etc

The repudiation of your occidental experience is displayed here:

Let’s look at a recent example of an educational outcome all too common. In 2016, in 13 of Baltimore’s 39 high schools, not a single student scored proficient on the state’s mathematics exam. In six other high schools, only 1 percent tested proficient in math. In raw numbers, 3,804 Baltimore students took the state’s math test, and 14 tested proficient. Citywide, only 15 percent of Baltimore students passed the state’s English test.
I bet a few more individuals were affected by that public school system than the home schooled situation you have "experience" of. ;)

I don't see what Baltimore has to do with anything in regard to my comment...

go fetch, nazi princess.
Are underlined links in a blue color (like the rest of the WWW) too difficult for you?

I source my links usually.
Do you think everyone argues as you instead of using an instrument that allows fairly reputable sources of information at your finger tips AND allowing a way for others to see your informational source?

Don't you think it's more equitable for people to cite their information sources so others can investigate them and vet them for themselves?

Why can't you be that transparent? ;)

not that there's anything wrong with the latter.

Again. another case study of a self confessed inability to treat a forum reader as a thinking rational human being by saying only you can dispense facts and not allowing them to form their own opinion.

I think this might be the root of your many inadequacies. ;)

But maybe you can over come that.
Prove it by posting backing information to support you claim in this quoted post.

it's not inability, it is that you are literally a nazi.
but "forum reader" is a cute euphemism for you literally being a nazi and all.
public schools outperform private schools.
This is why you can't post supporting evidence reported anywhere else but from your fingertips on the subject?
Can't you be troubled to do that, not for me, but for the future Buckold acolyte?

EDIT: If I remember, you had no such issues when people questioned Hitlery's chances of election. ;)

I'd rather have a christian indoctrinated person who missed out on evolution putting in my furnace (if they can do math) than finding out that the affirmative action employment quotient employee that can quote Darwin chapter and verse but doesn't like numbers is the person the company sent. ;)

I don't see the reason you are taking my statement and observation to these strange tangents...

Your second post.

You say loonies don't exemplify EDIT: educate abouit evolution or sexual preference minority but don't say much about basic skills attainment the alternative offers in one location.

Your experience is in one location. The other evidence of public education is in another.
Occidental evidence doesn't usually mean much except to the originator.

Did you say that the home schooled kids couldn't make change, measure square footage by parameters, or deny that gravity works?
Nope.

But you imply it with the questionable aspect of denying evolution (still a theory), and the practices of a sexual minority that they are not getting a complete education.
What are the "etc."?

Does their english/math/geography/history suffer in any other areas except those in history due to missing out on the championing of those lifestyles and beliefs you mention?
