I used 3x42watts CFLs for flowering for two bag seed Indica plants and they were ready in 8 weeks with a yield of 1 oz.
I use 2x42watts for my mother now and I've switched over to a 250watts HPS for flowering.

nice, glad you said the actually wattage and not the 120 watts the packaging says they give off and then kids say they have 120 wat lights

Yeah I'm more interested in the exact type of watts and yield.
I'm still trying to decide whether or not to add some small CFL's down low around the plant and see if that helps much.

from everything ive read, the basic rule of thumb with chronic is - the more light you can get away with the better for flowering. If you have all the light in the world on your plants, as long as you can put your hand between the light and the plant and it not be TOO too hot for you, your straight. This is only what i have heard though, and i am only speculating on that info, so take from it what you will.

Yeah it sounds like it will be worth it. I'm just weighing and balancing with what I consume and if I want to continually grow or grow and stop kind of thing.

ya i was in veg for a month before flowering, next time im gonna go over to flowering at week 2 or 3, my plant is growing a solid inch a day, i dont know what i am going to do!

i have 2 big ones, 2 small ones, one of the big ones though prob is the size of like 6 plants, i topped it and it has well over 15 different branches with cola's

im usein just 120watt witch kicks out about 7200 lumens on 1 plant gona put another 120watt so will be about 14400 lumens
