PH Pen Calibration

I have a the Oakton EcoTestr Ph2 pen and I haven't used it in years. The calibration is off and I have 4.0 and 7.0 calibration solution. When I put it in the 4.0 solution and hit CAL it reads 7.0. When I put it in the 7.0 solution it reads 10.0. How do I get it to calibrate correctly if it is not reading what it is supposed to. The 4.0 solution reads above 6 and the 7.0 solution reads above 10.

Prob got too dried out and either (if possible) change the probe or buy a new one. Or there’s alway gh ph kit.

Leave the probe to soak for 15 mins in ph4 solution this should hydrate the probe. Can you calabarate it manually?

With that pen there is calibration
But also a factory reset.
I just don't know what it actually resets.

Factory reset that re-calibrate the pen. Get some new PH solution I don't think it'll be acurate anymore

I have owned 2 Oaktons. The factory has excellent customer support

Alas, the tips do go bad and are pretty expensive. I now use el cheapo Milwaukee pens which are super easy to calibrate and I can toss

Found a pdf online for the cal procedure-soak the probe in tap water for an hour and then place in a 7.0 cal solution. Hit cal button and rinse with distilled water and cal with either a 4.0 or 10.0 solution. http://www.rshydro.co.uk/PDFs/Eutech/ecotestr-pH2-operating-instructions.pdf

Me too. I treat pH pens as disposable.
