Crazy that this review is bumped 2 years old, the day I found them online. Im in Canada aswell, but hes on the island of nanaimo, or atleast the money you send goes there, does it need to go through some sort of custom scan crossing onto mainland canada is what Im unsure of

Your in Canada??

There's no "island of Nanaimo" in Canada. Nanaimo is a town located on Vancouver Island, which is within the province of British Columbia. Why would you think there would be customs or a border just to get to an island? The mail truck simply drives on to a ferry and gets carried across from the mainland to the island and vise versa.

There aren't even borders or custom checks between provinces here in Canada.

I have been wanting to pull the trigger on some of PeakseedsBC blueberry but I havent found a lot of info on it. I keep reading and seeing he has some good stuff. I may just have to just go for it on my next seed purchase

Yes Im in Canada. The reason I figured it may have customs issues is because it is infact an island, its not attached to canada, so I ponderred they may have the customs checks at the ports or the coast of mainland canada. If there is in fact no troubles with getting the product in high success, then Id surely pull the trigger on the purchase

Id love to pick up some of his northern crosses. 30 seeds for $90 is a great deal. Just wish he had a feminized option so I didnt have to cross my fingers on what sex I was growing.

Peak Seeds BC is one of the best seed sources out there. Truly worked lines with stable plants that resemble each other in all strains. His 3 IBLs (Blueberry, Northern Lights and Sweet Skunk are very solid with years of development. He also has a great C99 if you ask. Price is great and even greater if in Canada.

I have grown many Peak plants and they are always in veg or flower here. Right now I have 2 Kush x NL F2s at 57 days and purple and frosty and very close to chop. I just froze a bag homecrossed Northern Skunk and have a jar in vape rotation. Those were almost black at harvest.

Mike is a throwback breeder that really works a line to refinement! Recommended by i with zero reservations. Very potent adult toys here.

Vaping some Northern Skunk just to get things goin' today. I only have 2 homemade NS/C99 in early veg of anything Peak at the moment. They are vigorous as hell already. I have a couple of Mike's unmarketed strains. I will have to run Haze x Blueberry and King x NL soon as the seeds are a couple years old and the weed is “fire” as the kids say. Apparently the Haze mother hermied and the King x NL was not satisfactory concerning yield. I've run both and the Haze x BB threw banners late which I can live with. I really like the King/NL which is sticky and pine smelling. Nice high without couchlock!

Putting together a few posts I found on the subject, it seems that Peak's Sweet Skunk is a cross of Island Sweet Skunk from British Columbia Seed Company and Sensi's Skunk #1:

"Love the Skunk! (Sk#1) it is very potent, but a clean high. Not a stinky skunk, it's sweet. We purchased this many years ago from the pioneers of the industry. Cheers!" - MikeJ in 2008

"We changed the name of our Skunk to Sweet Skunk to be more accurate. The original female was an Island Sweet Skunk." MikeJ

"I did ask MikeJ about the origins of his Skunk line a couple of years ago. I was told, that was Island Sweet Skunk from BCSC crossed to a Skunk #1 "of a very famous European Seedbank" (likely Sensi Seeds).
Then there is the question of what exactly is Island Sweet Skunk, there are two versions:

1) the one distributed by Federation Seeds, which is a ripoff of Breeder Steve's Sweet Skunk (Sweet Pink Grapefruit mother crossed with a NL x Haze from Sensi Seeds) to which Federation added White Widow. ("Federation" were Mark Emery's employees that made F2s of Spice of Life's (Breeder Steve) strains and called it new names)

2) and another "real island" version that came from Southern California to Canada that is in fact a selection of the real Skunk #1 by Sacred Seeds, the originators of the skunk. Since MikeJ got his ISS from BCSC (and not Federation), Mike's "Sweet Skunk" is probably derived from the ISS grown in the Island and allegedly derived from the original Skunk #1.

Bought from Peak 5 to 6 times. The good thing about his genetics is he hasn't felt the need to hit up his stock with some .....fire or what I call the short cut of gorilla this, or cookie that. and I'll be able to charge $$$$$$$. No hermies, no runts, mutes,.... with the exception of a triploid.
