@Lucky Luke

Sorry it was just the definition from google.

I thought it was technically right but im no horticultural expert thanks for letting me know.

So basically like you said defoliate = a stick with no leafs right?

Ok im NOT doing that lol

Well since i guess i have been using the word defoliating wrong.

Im definitely not triming py plants down to the stalks ha ha.

But i can still prune. 2 and leave 2 pretty much untouched.?

I gota figure out what would be a useful test.

I was going to cut the 2nd and the 4rth down to the top 3 leaves on every branch Last night but looking at the UNtouched plants.

I know im going to have to prune out the larfy crap and below my canopy.

I dont know what i want to do now lol

Let me know guys what would be a good test to run?

You could do some nute testing as far as bloom boosters or something.
Im sure you can start some shit that way. Lol

The definition you got from google is correct. "to remove leaves". If you think about it if you have leaves left then you haven't removed them. Most definitions use the work "strip". (lol I sound like a school teacher..I have trouble even spelling ..haha). When you strip something you remove everything you can. Strip off (remove all your clothes) strip paint, strip a car..etc

Not my finest work but its my first run in "this" rdwc this is my 3rd and probably last rdwc system

Let me know if i should start a new thread
1 thing thats not a real recirculating DWC so dont get frustrated because your not getting proper results.
I have defoliated and not defoliated but i only did it after a couple weeks into flower.I think i did gain a few extra ounces from defoliating after a couple weeks. Its a tricky game.I would never defoliate in veg.Plants eat sunlight and they get it from the leaves. In flowering you want the plant to put all of its energy into making buds but you also dont want to stunt the plants. Some sativas dont need it all but heavy indicas can use a hair cut for sure.

Uh what?

And uh what?

These are monster cropped plants thats why they are slow.

And why is my system not a recirculating?

Last time i talked to you same thing you said something then you where gone

Please enlighten me

How do you know what results i get?

How is my setup not a recirculating system?
Trust me in not quite a fuckin noob

The pipes that stick out of the bottom of the buckets have no way to circulate through the buckets.Your water is basically flowing past them.If you had a dump to go in each bucket it would recirculate better but you still need to go through the buckets not off the sides. You have to be able to fill the buckets in a loop to push out the old water.Technically its a recirculating but not very efficient.I saw you said this was your last one.I just hate to see you give up when the system wasn't really right to begin with.No need to get all defensive.I ran that same setup years ago as my first one and i hated it.Took forever to get the PH stabilized.

You dont even know how well my set up recirculates

Each bucket is its own vortex there is massive pull at each bucket

They are waterfall flumed and airstones

Your not going to convince me of that one dude

Dude your retarded
Thats a shame you have such a fucked up attitude.I live and breathe DWC.It is all i study and do.Im giving you some sound advice.Your system is like 20 year old technology.I could give a shit less.I regret even trying to help you

YOU CANT PULL SHIT OUT OF A BUCKET unless your dumping it back in.your system is 20 year old DWC design people was posting on IC back in like 2005.just cause you have a pipe coming off a bucket doesnt mean your recirculating through it.

I got 900 gph going into a 1 inch manifold that equalizes water that comesout

the tee then flumes the water as its waterfalling

I can run without air but.i have a alita pump feeding it too.

Trust me its not.my first rodeo
