Live in eugene Oregon blessed to have tap coming out at 7ph and 60ppm. Starting to think it could be over watering? I got these guys in 3 gals which might be a bit much for them right now. Watered tell run off last watering but the soil is staying moist for 5 plus days. I'm running vital organics soil(heard really good feedback on this soil, havnt ran into anyone having issue with soil. I did water it pretty sloppy last go around which may have caused the soil to become packed down.
Does anyone think that this could be an over watering issue or should I stay focused on deficiencies?
Getting ready to head to my local grow shop right now I'll snap a picture of the soil I'm using while there.
I’ve used vital earths manna mix in the past it’s not bad soil, not sure about vital organic I found a website for them in Eugene looks like they mix their own soil. As for at that stage of a plant I would have had it in a 7 gal pot already.have you fed it anything other than cal mag? Was it green and better looking a couple of weeks ago. At three gal it’s probably used up the soils reserve. Have you only been doing cal mag. Is the soil your using coco mainly? I wouldn’t water again until it’s dried out really well.

Picked the plants up about 2 weeks ago from a dispencery in town. They used aquaponics to grow their mother plants not sure If that would effect the plant going Into this soil from that. When I first picked them up they looked fine but within a couple days even in the pot it came in I stated noticing the leaves yellowing. So far i havnt fed the plants(Only had them for 2 weeks in fresh soil, assumed the soil would be good for at least the first 2 weeks of nutrients)
It's been 4 days since my last water and the soil is still pretty damp. Planning on feeding them half strength grow and just over half stregth calmag next water cycle to see if that would correct the deficiencies. Didn't add any coco myself assumed that vital organics already dailed the coco ratio into their soil.

Edited my last post with a picture I'd the soil I'm using.

60 ppm is pretty low. You may just consider adding calmag until your ppm’s reach between 125-150. My outdoor plants were dying until I started doing this. It turned my grow around in a week. It won’t hurt to try it.

That should be treated the same as soilless. That’s nothing but peat and coco so it should be fed often ph’d to 5.8 to 6.5 unfortunately they didn’t explain this to you when you got it. Coco, peat and anything not soil should be treated like hydro because it is. Your plant is looking like that because the ph has to be set by you in that just like hydro. If it was an actual soil you would have been fine but sadly it’s not.
