I swear that guy is a translator for cannabis plant "language". He is something else. Ive met and heard alot of growers and cannabis enthusiasts over the years...this guy is on a whole other level. When he talks and raps..you can tell..the people / other growers within ear shot just shut up and listen. Damn. So easy to listen to as well.

Hes got one rap on YouTube where he talks about how inputs (especially organic) can drastically affect final product and terp profile from grower to grower running the same cut. And in one story he talks about certain cuts floating around he judged at an Emerald Cup. And he took note of how a bunch of samples from different growers really were similar. And he traced it back that these growers were getting compost all from the same supplier. And analyzed the compost and found out why it did what it did. This guy is cutting edge..no doubt about it. It really backs the theory that someone with a cut or seed plant is just banging in thier particular setup. Another grower with different parcatices..methods and setup gets a completely different final product running the same exact cut. He also talks about how in a certain period in the 90's ...all the growers in the area were coming up with product that tasted all the same. And he traced that one back to all the growers using the same bat guano. Iam not even an organic grower anymore but after listening to this walking encyclopedia named Kevin Jodrey..makes me wanna get back into organic inputs.

Check out Wonderland Nurseries Facebook page it has some really cool videos,the meet the breeders series has a few good interviews and there’s an interesting one about the road kill skunk project he’s got underway and how he thinks the smell isn’t caused by terps but by ethers.
I have to agree with him about the guano.I’ve cut down the amount I use because I found it affected flavour,not in a huge way and not really negatively but it gives all plants a homogeneous flavour.

Ive heard this from alot of organic and especially outdoor organic growers about the bat guano thing. What is it in bat guano that can make alot of different cultivars taste similar? Like I said...I don't grow indoor organic anymore..but outside oh hell yes. And the guano thing is interesting. I wonder why?

i went on a cave tour up northa nd i remember whispering to my brother."it smells like weed in here" It must have been all the guano

It might be the way the nutrient profile drives the production of certain terps more than others but I’m just having a guess.
