So as I am coming to a neat end to my box build one thing i havent thought of would be considering my grow area is 1x2x3.5ft what type of traing should I apply to my plant. It will be in a 1.7 gallon nursery pot with FFOF with medi 1 nutes and that's it. One using an HLG 135watt QB. The strain will be AK-48 fem seed from nirvana.

Any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

im a noob ish indoor grower so take this with a grain of salt. if i was you in put 1 plant veg until 3rd set of internodes start growing up the main stem then top the plant by pinching the main head off. this will make the main stem turn in to two heads. then after a few weeks and branches start getting long around 1 foot for your space put a net with inch square tied over the plant and use that to spread the plant out keeping it low. in that space id probably only veg for 3 weeks then flip to flower. you will run out of room quickly

I thought about putting the net at 10" from top of pot and let the bottom of the screen fill, once a full canopy, I then lollipop the lowers until about 1/2 the density of growth it was. Then induce flowering and let tops grow up, but as the colas grow up push all fan leaves through bottom of net to keep an even canopy?

Maybe I'm completely wrong lol

that sounds perfect to me but im a noob for indoor grows. i like the scrog or net but i found it annoying. you do get a better grow using scrog. i dont like messing with plants too much. the more you play with them. the slower they grow. i like low stress training over scrog but you will never get even canopy using lst. veging a plant is easy though getting good buds is a different story

I got 4oz from a 1.5 sq ft space that I'd scrogged. And only if you'd heard it running. Would you know it was even there.

I like little stealth boxes.

Me too man I love stealth boxes. Feel like it' something I can get good at. Haven' decided if I wanna go hydro or stick to soil. Hydro seems like a pain in the ads for not much more return

I do living soil in mine. I started out with a 1 sq ft wide by 2.5ft tall box. Got my first home grown ounce in that. Now I've upgraded to a 3ft by 1.5ft by 4ft cabinet, doing my first test run. The 4oz I got from last run was in the new box. But, I'd only scrogged to 1.5 sq ft.

I can say right now. That the new configuration is likely going to be way more productive than the old setup. Not only is it more contained. But, I've got more control over the upgraded space.

I wouldn't have been able to do that with the old box. I was just lucky my first light was programmable.

So what node should I top At? And top only 1 time in the main shoot?
In a space that size I would probably top the plant twice and then use screen training to spread it out and fill the screen. There are some great scrog tutorials out there. I'll see if I can dig up some links for you in the morning if you haven't found any by then.
