Fish tank CO2?

I'm looking for a miniature system to supplement CO2 when my box is shut down for 12 hours out of the day from time to time. Would something like this work? I am looking to have 4 plants in my small 21x21x28 cabinet. Found this below on Amazon.

I did use this product (see below) although it is more hassle then the system you posted.
It's got a low review on amazon but it worked for me as an experiment with co2. Plus, it was fun making your own co2 (and setting pressure in bottles) by gradually mixing citric acid powder, baking soda and water :)

Those DYI kits on eBay are perfect! Thanks for the links. Do you think it would work with 1L bottles? I don't have that much space in my box. I could get a 4 way splitter and put a hose to each of the plants.

Now you said for when your box is shut down. Do you mean you are wanting to supplement co2 when your lights are off?

My OP was before I learned the use of CO2 is during photo time so I misspoke a bit. 2 weeks into this adventure so I am quite fresh. My new desire to use it has shifted towards lights on time but it will actually run all day because it wont be on any sort of digital timer. I suppose I can shut it off manually when I am home. I am taking a trip so I originally was worried about not running my fans during the dark period in the daytime when people come check on my petss but now that is no longer a concern. I am going to use a bit of CO2 to boost my plants. May not do much since I am pulling a lot of air out of my small ass space with my single exhaust fan.
