I haven't had so much bullshit during veg in fucking years. My 5 grapes 13 and 4 miyagi clones are like 6 weeks old and look about 3 weeks old. At first it was a cold snap, combined with ph imbalance then I got the temps and ph under control and the plants started looking better but then all of a sudden they went back to looking mag def or something so I started scratching my head.
I looked at other factors which lead me to look at my fertilizers. My cal/mag was almost empty, down to the last 1/8, and the color was a murky brown instead of the neon green/yellow mt. dew color it once was, so decided to throw it out and got a new bottle. I also went ahead and replaced the bottle of floranova I've been using as well. I know the floranova was at least 2 years old or damn close so I said fuck it and just got a new bottle. I figured I'd take out those variables and now the temps are on point 77-80, humidity is 40-50%, fans are blowing, ph is 5.6-5.8, light is 11" above no pests. Fuck man it should be good now.
Two of the girls do look good like they should and the others are starting to respond to the flushing friday night. The 2 plants that are looking nice and green were flushed with the new stuff thursday and the rest plants I did friday night. I need the girls to look healthy and be healthy before they hit the flower tent, dammit man.
I just want to be up front that I fucked up. I generally do an descent job growing and my journals typically reveal that but sometimes the garden gets the best of us and my current veg situation is a prime example.
The current round of veg will be hit by grapes 13 pollen once they are big enough in flower (probably 3 1/2 week mark), all but the fruity runt because she is a banana producing bitch so I won't waste my time seeding her. I got four females and one male of the grapes 13 so hopefully I can find a grapestomper leaner out of the 4. The male is a tall bean pole but healthy looking with a rubber smell so not sure how good his pollen will be but fuck it, chuck it, football.
Well hopefully I don't fuck up the next round which is and will be a clones off my 4 female grapes 13, clone of my orange cut, clone of berry wine cut, 3 x tang power, goji s1 and I plan on chucking with a tang power male if I get one. So hopefully it'll be TP x wine cut, orange cut, grapes 13 cut, goji s1 and any TP females. I'll be curious to see what is to come. Cheers.
