yea....those ecos are nice but tooo much shit...is going on there and theres no room in that barrel thing...plus they grow up..not out like in a wheel...

according to what i've read the plants grow horizontally toward the light. or they are supposed to. i have no experience of any of these contraptions, so i can't personally comment on their effectiveness.

oh they doo work..i have seen a bunch of these setups... a good setup and get around 50 to 60 os.... however it take a few runs and the right strain to get them right... there used alot out in the uk... i just dont like rockwool that much and that entire system is huge rockwool slabs that you have to cut into to plac your clones..h sounds like too much work for me.

plants main directional growth is influenced by gravity (geo tropism) and far in second place is light (photo tropism). A close inspection of any grow-wall type system and you will see the plants grow upward immediately from the medium surface. if you are using a grow wheel and you pull the plug on the rotation, all the plants will turn away from the pull of gravity no matter what position the plant is to the light whether beside or above the lamp makes no difference.
The ecosystem is the worst rock-wool pig on the market in a rock-wool to yield ratio, so i think the name is a pore choice for such an eco-unfriendly device.

some friends grow Big Bud to 7 foot tall and taller indoors and have to tie up the buds when they get too heavy to hold themselves up. is that whats going on there? do you have pictures of this in pre-bud state?

well, they are positioned upside but new growth is away from the pull of gravity.it's growing upside down.

you also suggest that the plant knows which way is up cause of the sun, but if that was the case then that would be suspended at night time, and you can experiment with hours old sprouts in darkness and see the same results.
its hydrodynamics and about drawing water upwards, which gets screwed up with the plants are not upright. like placing your thumb over the top of a straw and pulling it up out of a glass of water bringing the water inside the straw with it, but that water flows back out if you turn the straw far enough from vertical to horizontal.

hi gang, just a note before bed, my 2 g grows are now running well i can say! 
the second one is now a full time grow w/ a mix of many different kinds & ages.
would love to post a picture but done have a url?? for my pictures?
off out of town for a month in 2 days! Have a great time! i look forward to returning to an amazing transformation!!!

I have a knock off to the Omega garden now in full bloom w/ 68 doing Great! it was a process to learn but I think it is Great!
it says it will hold 308 but cant see getting any near that actually going?
I expect my next batch to be even better. I don't keep a journal any more but am none the less happy w/ my results thus far.
