My led grow

Looks good but to many white hairs for me.
Looks like it could use another week or two, IMO

I skipped the picture of the trimmed bud but yeah that is classic looking led bud. Under hps the buds really swell up in the last 2 weeks. Like watching a raising swell into a grape. All those hairs get engulfed by the swelling calynxes giving nice dense nuggets.

I can see you have a green thumb, I really was impressed with flowering early on but the end result has come out a bit flimsy imo and I aint going to blame anyone but your lights. Has happened to me too.

Invest in a hps, supplement your led's, maybe get a 600watt hps and ditch the 300 watt led. You can achieve double your yield on your next one and I reckon you should. That's just looking at your bud, like weedsex has said, a little hairy.

just one more ps nobody ever seems to mention.. Hairy bud takes 10 times longer to trim than tight nuggets. Hairy buds are a pain in the bum to trim and clean seriously. Sorry to be a downer on that fact.. Make sure you get some household cleaning gloves or you'll be sticking to everything you touch by the end of it.

You must be new around the LED forum if you think that's representative of LED-grown bud. (No offense meant, Cindy.) Perhaps you're only familiar with blurple LEDs? Have a look around and check out some of the COB and Quantum Board grows.

I had some decent buds last grow using LEDs.

A lot of growers here will tell you the density of their buds increased after switching to COBs or QBs/strips.

I think it's a bit presumptuous to judge a plant by it's light source. After looking at the trichome pic on the 6th, they were weeks if not a month or more away. If you let it grow until almost all the pistils are dark and curled back into the bud it will at least give it time to swell and harden up. The pic of the bud you picked off on the 16th was weeks away from being done.

To call those 'led' buds is misleading. Photons are photons. If you grew with them you'd know and if you grew with LED and ended up with larfy buds then you were probably using too little power in too big of a space.

I typically store 2oz in a 1lt or 1qt jar. It leaves enough room to burp them. I just harvested a smallish space monkey plant grown under Vero29 4000k/1750k and instead of 56g filling the jar 3/4, I ended up with 77g in the same 3/4 of a jar. The buds were like rocks. I had hardly any trim which sucks because I make bubble hash out of it but that's not such a bad problem to have.

I germinated 11 seeds, all Bodhi. Sadly, 10 out of 11 were male. Short veg so I could find females as quickly as possible. I usually take more pics but got lazy since it basically turned into a failure. I have clones going though. Only pics I have of this plant were 2 cell phone pics...

I tried it but won't judge it til it's had more than a few days to cure. Got a fairly strong smell. Smells really fragrant in the tent.
