Like the thinning out of it? Like it's supposed to be thick like the bottom?
That sludgeLike the thinning out of it? Like it's supposed to be thick like the bottom?
Yah it should it adds support for you plant.Ah, I see. I assumed the hydroton was to be level with top of net pot?
In hydro water temp is key. Lol I was making sure. I’ve seen some shady stuff before.Water temps were the only thing I was not monitoring. Very possibly the culprit
My current system is simply 27 gallon hdx brand totes hooked to a 55 gallon res to make a pretty rdwc system. 8 inch net pots and plenty of room for roots in 27 gallons. This was really just a test run for me lol I built my own system to try it out. As soon as this is over I'm hopefully going to have enough scratch to build a different system for coco
Jesus fuck. You have two totes on that drum?My current system is simply 27 gallon hdx brand totes hooked to a 55 gallon res to make a pretty rdwc system. 8 inch net pots and plenty of room for roots in 27 gallons.
Lol yah I have that room set with some overflow protection too. Drill a 2” hole drain like in your bathroom sink an simply plumbed into my basements sump.Jesus fuck. You have two totes on that drum?
Proper setup bro I love the fucking idea. If you don't mind me asking what kind of veg/yield you working with?Lol yah I have that room set with some overflow protection too. Drill a 2” hole drain like in your bathroom sink an simply plumbed into my basements sump.
I do this but with 12 gallon totes in a 4 site. Well will do. currently I'm working my 2 site bucket rdwc but have the whole system fabbed. I ended up just cutting bucket tops off and mounting those to the hdx lid then just using the 6" bucket lid pots. I posted a couple pics in the dissent grow thread if you're curious to see the lid deal.My current system is simply 27 gallon hdx brand totes hooked to a 55 gallon res to make a pretty rdwc system. 8 inch net pots and plenty of room for roots in 27 gallons.

Bottom of that page and leak resolution top of next
This is this one first run my old one was a 12 site 13 gallon bucket setup. Considering how this one doing I’ll add the other two next run. But I also run a dirt room and a mother/baby room.Proper setup bro I love the fucking idea. If you don't mind me asking what kind of veg/yield you working with?
Nah it's only about 45 gallons all full with 4 sites and control. It's makes it pretty easy to maintain ph. The 2 site I'm running now is only 20 gal and I top up twice a week in full bloom and ph once a week. The whole setup is pretty cheap. 30 worth of uniseals 40 on totes 10 on pvc. Have all the tools I needed. And the buckets. I had like 12 buckets so sparing those was no problem. I find that I collect this crap over the years.Pooooohhhhhh I definitely do not have the resources for all of that. I admire the time you put in and I would absolutely hate trying to keep that res stabilized so I hope all that work is worth it in the end.
