This seems like a nonpartisan issue, in so far as it being something that both progressives and conservatives can get behind. Although conservatives oppose drug legalization, the fiscal impact is nothing but positive for the state, so I wonder what they care about more on an individual level; saving/making money by legalizing cannabis by eliminating the funds that go along with criminalization, like putting people in jail and arresting people with a little bit of weed, and nearly all progressives support legalization.. Seems like it would be a win/winI contributed to those totals all four years.
Whatever you got was probably a better product. Very little "fire" in the taxed pot world. However, every once in a while . . .I've never bought any taxed pot
I bought a $35 8th for $37 the other dayI've never bought any taxed pot
I disagree. The quality of product I buy from recreational clubs is much better than the untaxed alternative I can usually find elsewhereWhatever you got was probably a better product. Very little "fire" in the taxed pot world. However, every once in a while . . .
Consistently?I disagree. The quality of product I buy from recreational clubs is much better than the untaxed alternative I can usually find elsewhere
It's 20% on rec in my shireI bought a $35 8th for $37 the other day
The taxes incurred are hardly noticeable
Then you don't know the right peopleI disagree. The quality of product I buy from recreational clubs is much better than the untaxed alternative I can usually find elsewhere
And Med is like 7%, right? It's 20% on rec in my shire
I know it's less, but I'm not a med guy so I really can't say how muchAnd Med is like 7%, right?
Yeah, the quality is relatively consistent. I get a bad batch from a cannabis shop maybe 5% of the time, but even then I mark it up to the person selecting the weed (I normally have someone else pick it up for me) rather than the club itself. They usually have anywhere between 10-100 different strains depending on the shop you go toConsistently?
That would make it a $42 8th. I think, even then I wouldn't mind so much. I remember before CA became legal, during the voting, people in the opposition camp were making claims the taxes would make it so expensive it would just become unaffordable to many people.. I think this shows those claims to be wrong. It's 20% on rec in my shire
AgreedThen you don't know the right people
...showing once again that West Virginians are the product of their impoverished education system.manchin won
Because it's better than not being able to do it at all.So if a person has "permission" to grow a little bit of marijuana, as long as they give some money to the same organization which threatens to steal their house, shoot their dog and lock them up for years, everything is okay?
How is that any kind of a victory for freedom again?
