I'm not afraid to admit when i'm wrong, come on... just not convinced that i am quite yet, because It depends on what you count and what you discount in the calculation of a state's "productivity" over what feds "pay" to that state, that's all. That's why
@UncleBuck 's numbers are generally no larger than 1 (suggesting most states are at a gross deficit), while the numbers/article i posted show that the lowest states (e.g., MS) are slightly above 1 (suggesting state GDPs are higher than recieved fed funding). How can these sets be 100% or more different, if one or both sides aren't telling the whole truth?
