I hope im not bothering. But it would be best if you do your transplant into your 5gallon smart pot. Dont do the step up transplanting. Especially if you transplant from a smart pot. You will rip so many roots and stunt growth I swear. Ppl will say what they may about transplanting but I cant be more sincere when I say go straight into the 5gal smart pot

well I'm not currently in a smart pot.. they are just in little plastic cup where I drilled hole because I saw someone doing it and though it wasn't a bad idea.. Yes I will be going with Smart Pot 5 Gal.. I was actually debating if the middle pot would be smart pot or just a regular pot.. I was gonna buy them this weekend. Why I wanted to do one transplant between the two is the fact that I expect to Veg for quite some time 4-8 weeks.. If I put them in the 5 Gal pot on their first transplant they may use all the nutrients before I start feeding them, but then you mentioned I should start feeding after week 3 - what do you feed them at that stage? I thought this soil was quite full a good nutrient for most of the VEG but if you say otherwise I'm down for whatever, but would like a bit more detail on what you are using and an idea of your feed schedule if possible :)

Thanks - All inputs are highly appreciated this is my first grow and I am learning - I already faced a twin seed, failure of my carbon filter, power outage, etc. I was still able to minimize the damage on my girls. I'd like to make this first grow a good one, so I don't want to go extreme with CO2 for example but adding nutrients if you think its a good idea I'll consider, at the end of the day if I can save 1-2 weeks of veg it's 1-2 weeks sooner I'll be able to appreciate the results ;)

Im currently on GREENLEAF NUTRIENTS MEGA CROP. But have been using the full line of advanced nutrients with connoisseur as the base. I start at 1/4 strength and usually no later than 3 weeks into veg

A very nice set up you got there, any pic you can share?

Here is my update for todayIMG_3501.JPG
I was off today so I had the time this morning to water them. Ive let a little runoff and it dried already.

Now if you look on some of them top right and bottom left a bit my leaves are like bubbly.. not too sure how to call this.. they all appear to have a good green color and no sign of anything bad except that was just curious if anyone know if its normal? Ill do some research later tonight too. It could be something normal as well. I thought maybe the wind but no sign of wind burn at all - and i have no fan blowing towards the plant so it would be only wind from the negative pressure in the tent anyway if anyone hve any idea let me know

I didnt take any chance and moved the light a bit further (from 30inch back to about 36inch) I dont know if its because the plant liked it or it is just the time for them to grow but ive seen a big growth in the last 2 days

Yesterday :IMG_3503.JPG

Today :

Now even baby seeds seems to be growing new leaves.. I think she is stun but as soon as she will have enough leaves and energy I think she will start catching the other up.

Temp are slightly going higher now - they reached a new maximum of 27.1celcius (used to be 26.2 the max). It is still reasonable for this stage but Ill need to keep an eye on it and make sure it doesnt get hotter

Not much new to report. I watered this morning and also put then in different tray because they were starting to touch each other in the other tray I had..I also put little wood stick in them so I can identify them. I was moving them around but now ill be able to monitor them individually. I used 7 for baby twin seed and 6 for the other twin. Then I rated them from 1 best looking to 5 worst looking. We will see if at the end they will finish in the same order. They are still growing well temp and humidity still in control. Here is a shot from top, one from the side and a last one from number 7 baby twin

Broke the soil around Feb 7. (See earlier post on this thread. Seeds were put in water on Feb 1 and then paper towel method for few days.

Do they look alright? Lol
Are you kidding dude? You're killing it!

Attached my day 9 white widow in hydro, from what would be your day 9 pics I would say they are pretty close even with my hydro (supposed) advantage. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how much of a difference my chinese blurples make compared to your light set up though.

Very interesting grows, cool that we started at around the same time.

Sorry if I dont post everyday which was my goal.. its not because I dont take care of my girls; sometimes I just feel repetitive in my post so Im trying to space them a bit. Here is an update from this morning 2nodes (5leaves) is out there and plants are pushing to their 3rd nodes.. then I will try to top/fim whatever I achieve to do. I expect to do that in a couple days then wait few more days and transplant them in a new home.

I should also get my kill a watt today so hopefully ill be able to test the power of my lightIMG_3519.JPG

There was a very good grow today. I put a few drops of water this morning just to make sure it stay wet for the day. I will water them tomorrow morning i can see some are getting thirsty so I bet the next 2 days will be very good too. Baby twin got her 3 leaves and growing for the next steps. All leaves are very small but shes alive and I still have hopes id be curious to see what can comes out of it. I also received my kill a watt and the light is at 250-255w at 2.14A. I also got my flora series nutrients but ill probably wont start them until at least 2 more weeks.

Ive also raised my light a bit. I think it will help make the plant a bit more stretching to reach out to it. we will see how that works out.IMG_3520.JPG
