at what price point would you consider purchasing...over growing.????

I'm Curious to what see what price would tip the scales... to get someone who currently grows...to switch over to a store bought product....
We will assume ...a triple AAA quality wise....and we will also acknowledge... we can trust the grower to follow
only good growing practices (Craft grower of all intents and purposes.)
For me I think 1.50/gram would seal the deal...since my current costs are about 0.95 /gram to grow.
I do not include my time in this exercise.
and maybe even a stretch if the quality was there and say go 2.00/gram high end.
What do the rest of you think would work for you.

No price point, it's my hobby/passion and I don't grow for smoke/rec I grow for meds/edibles. I grew outdoor for many years and had plenty of cheap contacts/sources. After stopping (growing) for a while I went back to growing outdoor for personal and eventually indoor. The reason I went back was trying to find quality/variety was difficult (even with multiple hook-ups) and seeing/knowing that most commercial growers had one priority $. $ driven decisions are never good decisions so I don't trust anyone to supply my medicine. So no, even at $0.10/g I'd continue growing my own supply.

its all about price point and quality........when people use a lot....and its always been about QUALITY!! at least on my side of the tracks anyway.
No..I dont buy the BC shit we get out here :lol: at one time it was OK..

I just wondered at what actual per/gram price would do it for you if all things considered and quality is not an issue...

2.19 per gram, for top drawer. But don't stop growing even then because this market is going to "Walmart" in record time. Low prices will chase everyone out of the business. Prices will go to .50 per gram or less. No one will make any money but the big guys don't need to because they made all their money fucking over the stock market. These LP's market cap is so overinflated. Anyway, the entire industry is fucked and in a year and a bit if you are still trying to make a go of it the private police will start going after you, the little guys because they are being paid by the lp's. Soon there will be nothing but shit cheap weed, no one will be willing to pay for good weed. We will have an age of Budweiser weed and if you dare go against big weed they will send their private army after you.

I know this is a dark picture but I am sure it will be darker than this.

You're looking at it as a heavy user/smoker who atm has no option but black market. Once there's a legal access 1/2 of regular smokers will go to it and majority of Canadian who smoke once a week+ will only go to it. Do you actually think people who never smoked before for legal reason and now take up smoking will be asking around to find underground dealer? LOOL yah ok buddy, I got a nice spot under a bridge to lease to you.

I'll say it again. A buddy of mine lives above a dispensary in Vancouver, I was always like LOL dispensaries what fool would pay $10-15 per gram for illegal weed. Well I had a reality check when I saw how people people go in and out of the place all day long.

Yah because legalization and people paying $10-25/g totally failed in legal states and no one new took up smoking.

Absolutely, it’s the forbidden fruit. Lots of baby boomers are anxious to try cannabis. On my moms death bed her and my aunt joked that she never got to try cannabis. There will be line ups in the beginning. I constantly hear people talking about trying cannabis once it hits mainstream. People are curious and many will try it to see what all the hype is about. The elderly will also be interested in it medicinally, its a hot topic in my fathers assisted living facility, they are always joking with me for a hook up.
