So I have a sprout growing right now. Im wondering when is the correct time to put a fan on it to help with stem development?

i got a plant that is 20 days into flowering. Should i keep an osilating fan on it all day or just for several hours at a time??? (the fan rotates back and forth so its not always on the plant)

i would wait until it is about 3 or 4 inches tall then and add a fan for that cool breeze.
Come on man what kinda info is that your giving out 3 - 4 inches? mother nature dont turn her wind off until her creations are at a certain hight does she? as long as your not too close to blow the shit out of em ur good, and i think oscilating is better than a constant flow as this keeps all the air circulating in your room, and gives the plant breeze from most directions as it bounces off the walls.

fan 24/7 from seed. always got a fan on, always. Not only does it keep dust from choking the plants, but it cools the canopy and strengthens the stems so that they can hold the weight of huge ripe buds that want to make the plant bend in half. hehehe

Good info. I appreciate the help gentlemen. One more question. How many plants should/could I grow in an 13 inch pot?

depends on your light coverage, if you have the room for the final size pots, stick em there

get 3 gallon pots and flower them when they are 12 inches tall. You should end up with 2-3 foot plants that yield about 1/4- 1/2 oz each after the proper flowering time. 5 gallon pots would work, but not with fluoro as the plants will be too big to really use the light down low and you won't have any more yield than the 3 gallon pots.
