Hi! Any clue on this kind of leaf?

Hey everyone, i'm new around here (been lurking for weeks tho :D), and i wanted to show you a very weird leaf that grew on one of my plants:





It is basically cone-shaped (yes, it's closed for real like a cone, it's not a normal curled up leaf), and it's the first leaf the plant has ever developed..never seen anything like that before! It doesn't seem to develop any gem or any new branch on its stem..so i was thinking about cuttig it off..
So.. Has anybody experienced anything like that before? Is it safe to cut it off, or the plant would suffer too much from it?

looks like a general mutation, nothing to fret over, it happens on occasion, its absolutely safe to cut off, make sure you leave some of that leafs stem attached to the plant to avoid infection, but since the plant is still rather young i would let it get a few more leafs before you cut it off, in the early stages such as this every leaf will help your plant to grow, even a cone shaped one :p

Yeah, it's just a light collector. That's why it has a bowl shape. Next step in plant evolution.

Or God changed it, whatever you're into.

It comes right out of the middle of the plant! The fact is that all the other stems look way more healthy/large, the one of that leaf looks very thin compared to the others, and as i said before it was the first leaf that grew on the plant..that looked fishy to me, that's why i asked, it looked like it was just leeching nutrients or something :/

see you say the other parts of the plant look healthier but from the pics you posted that mutant leaf has the deepest green to it which , at least IMO, makes it the healthiest looking one despite its mutated appearance, as i suggested i would leave it until you get a few more nodes, its not gonna do anything but absorb light which makes your plant grow more.. but entirely up to you.

DO NOT chop that plant! Let it grow. One weird leaf is not a good reason to kill the plant. This is a case of "FISH" (Forget It Stuff Happens). So long as it is healthy, let it grow. Could have been a trace element missing in your soil, or a chemical in the water, if you use tap water. Stress can cause the same thing too. Just don't use this plant to get more seeds for future grows, just to be safe.

Looks more like something happened to stunt it's proper development than anything else. It has now "recovered", and seems to be doing fine. Don't fret about it.

No one told him to kill the plant. Just to remove that fukt leaf.
