Lol that shit looks like work, never tried to scrog but always wanted to give it a shot. From what I have seen this poke done right. They are going to blow up!!!

Yea it was an amnesia haze(cant think of the breeder was a freebie from herbies or the tude ) i grew outdoors

But i didnt have any where for her to go at the time cause im not bringing an outdoor plant in my room :)

So it started to bud so i took cuts and nursed them back.

Monster crop plants are so slow though

The clones i tokk off her a month ago have already almost caught up in height lol

Ha ha yea when i was a younger grower i used to spend weeks tucking and weaving.

Now i just grow the plants bushy till they are a few inches taller then the net.
Then i just drop the net on there lol

But if the net less method on the right doesnt do
Badly i might give up the nets too :)

Hey guys just incase it helps or if anyone is interested.

I gave the under net stuff another trim last night
This just shows how much im pulling off every 2 -3 days.
Just off the bottom only for now.
But i should be all done with trimming under the net except a few leaves. As i try not to pull as much when in flower.

Ill be moving on to the top of the net next getting any stragglers and selectively removing fans here and there.

I think as an experiment in the old thread i made about defoliation.

At week 3 ill probably give half the plants a major defoliation so i can see side by side which was more productive....:)20180301_010618.jpg

I really despise LEDs . I get a lot of hate when I say that but who cares.
Everyone of them are junk.
Not enough light intensity or penetration.
Gavitas are the shit and phantoms are good too. I like the gavitas a little better.
I hate glass over a bulb.
I wouldn't give ten cents for a ac/de .
You almost need 12 ft ceilings to run gavitas or phantoms though.
If you have 12 ft ceilings though two lamps will cover the same area three HPS will cover plus another 50 percent in growing area. At 12 ft the gavitas will cover a 6x6 foot print.
The instructions say to keep them 4 ft from the canopy and it will cover a 4x4 area but I have seen plenty of rooms with them mounted at 12 ft, never move the lights covering a 6x6 area effectively with great bud development.

Dna lemon skunk from back in the day(fucking bomb in all regaurds)
Paradise white berry from back in the day (tastey and a great plant)
Big buddah cheesus from bitd
Dutch passion blueberry
Rare dankness? Lima bean og (straight fire )
Some tga stuff was good think it was timewarp

And others bodhi is good GGG was good.

But to be honest i dont buy twice unless im wowed. And i have bought other DNA. Stuff chocolope and wasnt wowed.

But i rebought the lemon skunk from DNA. And green house(eek) to try and find the same pheno i had :(

I also bought white berry again cuase i remember being so fond of it just a tastey smoke.

But its super rare if i even buy from the same breeder again unless i find something special

One of the best plants I ever had was DNA kush berry , straight fire,
The plant was unstable as hell though , phenos all over the place, I've grown wonderwoman from then chocolope ,
I hate their ass, DNA are a bunch of pollen chuckers , straight junk.
I grew a hog once and it was pretty good, freaking stretchy bitch.
Every time I heat about DANA seeds I get a twitch and go nuts.
I almost want to hit the fat fuck right in his mouth for putting out such garbage.

Yea when i designed my gavitas where on my mind as leds at the time still hadnt proved themselves to me.

But i also wanted to be efficient

I figured if gavitas are designed for green houses with a higher ceiling

They should be able to rock a shorter area (hoping)

So i desinged my room to run 4 gavita 750.
But when i turned on the first one at 750

I was BLOWN away when i turned it on and it lit my whole room better then my old grow box set up. A digital 1000w and 430w of t5s


So after it impressed me so muchni decided to
See what 1 gavita 750 can do in in my room


Just as a side not my light is at like 7.5 ft and i have 9 .5 ft ceilings

So far im happy with the light
But in the summer i might switch to led if its too hot.


Im trying to be more efficient so no chillers and no air conditioning

After these last lemon skunks

I doubt ill buy from them again.

Just cause theres so many out there to try.

But i will say i miss my old lemon skunk

So i cant say all things from dna where bad .

But my dna was from like 10 years ago when they where getting bigger so mabey that started slacking

Can't you run the room with negative pressure to cool it or AC?

They weren't slacking they are a bunch of con artists selling bull shit any paying off people to win cups .

I am kind of a journeyman tradesman also, licensed HVAC contractor .
What temps does it get to in the summer where you are at?
Many growers use mini split systems to cool with.
I could tell you easily what size you need to cool with but many in colder climates do not get a average summer temps much over 80 degrees. If you suck enough air through the room the room will get no hotter then outdoor temps.

Cool good to know an hvac guy :)

Im not interested in cooling with a minisplit or ac at all.

This summer is the first summer ill have using this light, and last summer i wasnt insulated yet.


Im thinking with as well as i have it insulated and air sealed plus pulling my fresh air from the dark cool area under the building

I think ill be good
With just one light any way.

if i add another gavita i might have to up my exhaust or get a cooler .

Just have to wait and see what this summer brings :)
